I love his portrayal of Bosch. Most of the movies or shows with maverick cops they're just totally wreckers but Bosch is more realistic. He's certainly not beyond bending the rules but he knows that he can't just get away with anything and will only push things so far.

The problem is no one can else can play Bosch. So, what do these people think I’m supposed to do now without a season 8. LA is not going to be the same without Bosch. Someone needs to start working on a Bosch movie.

That last point he makes about cops is spot on. As a 30 year veteran of law enforcement, I can tell you it’s absolutely imperative that we are able to (what we call) compartmentalize. You put away the emotion while getting the job done, but you must deal with any psychological trauma once you are able to take the time to do so. You just can’t leave things festering. You have to deal with them at some point, otherwise, you do end up with alcoholism, or other destructive behaviors.

That is awesome! The show crew, writers, and actors really work closely with LAPD Hollywood and they are so nice and accommodating. One of the reasons Bosch is such a great show!
