Hey greg years ago i was told that the house boat was purchased from Russell island by a group of guys that tried to get it up to tinny creek but cracked the hull on way over which filled up with water and thats as far as it got , i also believe that there is 4 pieces to this scatted in the surrounding area 😉 as for the harry the pipes are scatted far and wide now from being dragged by boat anchors not in one clump like when first dropped in 👍

People need to learn to rig their anchor properly so it comes out backwards when it gets caught on reef. I don't have this issue so much where I fish but I use a grapnel anchor. The attachment rope goes to where all the claws join in the middle. The chain is heavy duty zip tied up the shaft to the end. If it hooks a reef the zip ties brake and the anchor comes out backwards. Most style anchors can be rigged like this to come out backwards when caught.

one of the original owners contacted me about the houseboat. It sank and drifted away from it's original location never to be found again. So the one we all think is the houseboat is actually not it but another older mono hull vessel.
