You are correct sir. But dhyanam is also a way of summa iruthal than. Dhyanam is must. After realized the truth one can leave dhyanam and live with the reality what he realized. It is very difficult to be summa iru. But after doing all yogam summa iru comes by own. This is the real truth. First learn 1 and then 10. Straight away 10 is not possible to all.

When I read the title, I could not believe my eyes. I thought "How my Guru, who gives upadesam to do dhyana, could speak against dhyana?!?" When I listened to his speech, only then I realised that it is Bhagavat who said that. Only then my mind has been relaxed. I watched Bhagavat's video earlier about this. He said that Buddha did all practices and finally he gave up all his efforts and rested under a tree. At that time he got enlightened. So he said that only when you leave dhyana, you will get enlightened. What a blasphemy!!! It is like you clean your house for 1 hour and take rest and now looking at your house, you declare that when you simply sit and take rest, your house will be automatically cleaned. Then what about all the effort you took for 1 hour to clean your house? Of course, a time comes when all the efforts and meditational practices "drop by themselves" and wisdom flowers by the grace of God. It doesn't mean that one should stop all the efforts and practices in the beginning. Efforts are quite necessary for spiritual progress. We need people like Sivayogi Sivakumar, who point out such kind of misconceptions about spirituality and to lead the spiritual aspirants like me into the right direction.
