Hey TJ if you read this I'm someone who's been diligently stretching almost every day for about 5 years now to fix a life long shoulder imbalance issue that hindered me, I've learned a lot and I'm willing to share. For starters it's important to understand your body is way out of balance in terms of joint symmetry and everything is connected and affects how the joints line up. Right now you are having people cut you open and try to fix your shoulder in a position it's not meant to be in in the first place. Start with learning lotus pose on the ground and you will feel the adjustments that happen in your ankles and knees, the key is to start with half lotus and just put yourself into a position of slight discomfort and then hold it long enough till you feel the muscle release its tension and the stretching feeling goes away. Shoulder adjustments are quite complicated and take a very long time but in the meantime you'll get a kick out of the other parts of your body coming back into good alignment and it's all necessary for the eventual shoulder adjustments.

TJ Dillashaw's coach Justin Bucholz gave him solid advice; before every fight TJ would get nervous before walking out, but Bucholz told him "People would pay millions to walk out in front of millions and perform, soak this energy up." Before that fight, TJ would have tunnel vision, wouldn't pay attention to the crowd, just focus on opponent across the cage, and not worry about anything else. Bucholz said it right before TJ walked out. TJ said he performed so well in that fight, and tricked himself every fight after that to have fun. Enjoying the fear rather than the fear take over you and get tunnel vision. That's what switched his career completely.
