@@Ilovehertjes They were like soulmates in season 2 spent times with each other had intimacy and just 4 episodes before Olive kissed levi she said they were still dating & he just didn't abandon her he told her the reason for going to Egypt,assured her about the relationship never broke up with her also sent her a manuscript from there just because they weren't talking we can't assume the relationship wasn't there...there were no confirmation in the script about their break up but where & how they left of & considering it wasn't long before olive kissed levi after he went to Egypt we can say it's she who ended the relationship by going close to levi even if there was one(which is cheating) Also the writing is fucked up so i know where you are coming from one might conclude however they want based on their perspective but for me it was unfair with TJ since they didn't break up and he ended up sacrificing his life for her

@shabbirrah8621 The writing was definitely lacking in that storyline, so I can see how you can come to your interpretation. However, since the show does always address other instances of cheating when they occured, I don't think the writers intended for us to see this as Olive cheating. I think the intention was for us to see them as being on a break, but Olive still clinging onto the relationship at first. But as months passed and TJ couldn't provide the emotional support Olive needed or be there for important milestones like prom, she ultimately stopped holding on. And with all the craziness in her life, it's understandable that she'd ultimately start looking for some normalcy and for someone who could be there for her and give her normal college experiences. Keep in mind, at that point it had been about 6 months since TJ left. Yes, he was trying to give them a future. But you can't maintain a relationship if you're not there for your significant other in the here and now. So I think that's how we're meant to see the storyline. Either that, or TJ and Olive broke up off screen during a timejump between episodes. Which, to be fair, is similar to how Olive's relationships with Kevin and Levi ended, cause there was never a mention of her breaking up with them either. So it's messy and unclear writing, but we can see from how the show handles it that it was never written as her cheating. So I don't think there's any reason to read it as such and hold it against Olive.
