That's a recent thing. Canada was the old Brazil. Tons of Red Dragons made it super big in the late 90's early 2000's, then Canada stopped being the cool place, and Canadians along with it. It sort of happened when all the spots up here got capped so it wasn't a big tour and contest destination.

The musical editing in this was phenomenal. The song keeps the same tempo as his skating, so they can really line it up perfectly in so many places. I wish more editors would think of matching the skaters tempo when picking music, it elevates it to a new level.

It’s a lost art. It used to be the way things were always done and it’s sort of why boom bap style hip hop works so well with skating. But people don’t seem to edit like this anymore but it just makes the whole thing feel more cohesive.
