Tanker plane can get shot down by SAM if you positioning your aircraft and Tanker plane straight towards SAMs at long range. Make sure you're perfectly behind the Tanker plane and make sure the missile is heading the Tanker.

Myth : S.A.M Cant shoot u when u fly higher when u not at 8000 FT or less Myth 2 : fire can extuingish itself if u wait a long time or use car to move in it
