TJOLÖHOLM-A REMARKABLE CASTLE
The philanthropic thought that beauty refines a person, has had a long tradition in the Dickson family, who built Tjolöholm castle. The widow Blanche Dickson & architect Lars Wahlman completed the castle, the church and the worker's village in 1904.
The idea was that beautiful homes would help to create contented people, who would in turn go on to make a better society.
