My best guess is that it won't be RiD Megatron since they've said previously that all HasLab molds are produced with the intention of only ever being used once, so a HasLab RiD Megatron would mean no RiD Galvatron, and I highly doubt Hasbro would ever want to do a new RiD Megatron mold in a way that would keep them from redoing it as Galvatron, so my money is on the next HasLab being a character with no repaint potential.

You pretty much thought what I thought in regards to having Liokaiser as a Haslab. And an accurate Liokaiser, I think, would be perfect for collectors who want the Decepticons in their collection to outnumber their Autobots, because each component of Liokaiser (the Breastforce, but will likely be named Chestforce) also includes a partner figure that changes from chest plate, to beast, to gun. In total, a complete Liokaiser will include 12 Decepticons, 14 if you include Death Cobra and his partner. That is a LOT of characters to include in one set, likely a record-holder if it happens, and I think it could also be sold out of novelty, “The Transformers Set that gives you the most characters in one purchase” would undoubtedly be a hit to those people who like the novelty of getting a set like that…

Cybertron/Galaxy Force Primus is our most likely option, really. Stretch goals could include 1) micro-scale versions of the Convoys (Optimus, Override, Scourge, and Evac), 2) alternate heads that allow him to be turned into either Lost Light "Functionist Primus" or Japanese G1 Primus, 3) his sword and shield from his Marvel UK debut, and 4) a retroactive Unicron Trilogy-style version of Rung. Also, no more HasLab Optimii. Still salty over what they did to RID 2001 Optimus and Magnus (I mean, they look good, but their chances of being done at general retail have been shrunk significantly; I'd have just reduced Optimus to a Titanium-style redo and turned Magnus into a Weaponizer compatible with everyone) and Evolution Armada Optimus proved this design team could work wonders with UT Optimus designs with general retail budgets. Evan is still fighting for a better Cybertron Optimus update (and Leobreaker and Wing Saber are solid enough to do as individual figures) and Energon Optimus would work well within the AOTP-onward Titan budget. Just because RID 2001 Optimus sold like hotcakes doesn't mean the other two anime Optimii deserve the same fate.

Honestly I think they HAVE to complete the sets or there's no point in even having them as Haslab in the first place. They did Victory Saber, they did Deathsaurus. That works because it completes the set. They did Unicron they have to do Primus. People have been asking for Primus since Unicron was announced. You gotta complete the set. That means because they did Omega Prime as a Haslab they have to do the Megatron/Galvatron to go with him. And I would think the stretch goals for him would be his throne because he did spend the majority of that series sitting in a chair. His ship scaled appropriately because in the cartoon his ship is shaped like a big floating torso and he did combine with it attaching to one of the arms in his hand mode. And probable the car shell that he wore in that one episode and the O-Parts. I don't think you really need an updated Megatron/Galvatron because the original toy is already so good how do you improve it? It really is just adding the stretch goals so he can get all the accessories he had in the show that would never be made at retail. And Megatron/Galvatron wouldn't bother me as a Haslab the way that Omega Prime does. The only reason I don't like Omega Prime as a Haslab is because it cuts us off from being able to get a more afordable version at retail for a figure who's original toys are prone to self destruct meaning there is no other option other than the Haslab. RID Megatron/Galvatron is not a self destructing figure so there is still a viable option for those who can't afford Haslab as an option. That's really what Haslab is truely meant for, not to just make characters that wouldn't sell at retail, there's no such thing. It's to make EXPENSIVE figures with copious amounts of accessories that only a select audience will even be able to afford. You could absolutly do any of the current Haslabs as retail released and they would sell. They wouldn't have as high of a part count or the same level of paint detail but they're doable in a cheaper budgeted retail line. Just make both an option and stop trying to price us out of a hobby and making us feel bad cause we don't have over $12,000 a year to spend on plastic. I'm lucky if I spend $600 a year. Give me a more afordable option.

Liokaiser could be a fun one a 6 bot combiner with a higher budget could make a really good combiner. Like each limb is it’s own mold, they have a custom combiner frame, throw in a few accessories or death cobra for backing tiers and we have a good Haslab. It also works in the fact that haslabs are meant to be 1 and done no repaints and liokaiser is just that, he’s there’s the rescue team but come one it’s a combiner with no arms I doubt we’d ever see that repaint made. Fall of cybertron Bruticus could be one that might work. The gamer edition is kinda wonky at retail so idk how well a combiner in that line would sell especially with a commander in the mix but a Haslab you could engineer a custom combiner frame it and really get those details down at a Haslab budget, backing items is a lil tricky you could do some blast or explosion effects and maybe some game reference pieces, there was a wrecker and g2 repaint at some point but would they repaint a foc Bruticus into that if it was a retail thing I’m leaning no on any repaints being done G2 menasor is having release issues as is

We just uh, need Takara to get their ball rolling.

A mainline RiD Megs would look awful next to the fully painted and chromed out Omega Prime.

Wild stretch, but if we Liokaiser id expect Death Cobra as a stretch goal, but Lyzack as another?
@cybersilver581610 сағат бұрын
14:07 By that logic, Grandus is at least a smaller Titan like Star Convoy since he is depicted in fiction to be the same size, if not taller. I still don't think he's Haslab worthy, I just want a modern Grandus landships are cool. Also for all my Modulators to make a city with, because that was an underutilized gimmick

DEFINITELY LIO KISER!

Definitely betting on Big Powered from Zone, probably without Roadfire

If the pattern holds, a big Japanese original that hasn't gotten much love statside. Overlord?
@juzoinui462710 сағат бұрын
My guess would be Rid Megatron or Lugnut Supreme from animated
@xtroguyver3 сағат бұрын
my number one pick is indeed LioKaiser he just fits haslab perfect and yes a stretch goal should be death cobra, heck throw in leozack's sister from the manga Lyzack as one too she can be a nice retool, after that my no 2 is rail racer

If habro were to do a haslab energon optimus prime, it would need to be a 3 pack titan set, that includes both optimus prime, wing saber and omega supreme. And hopefully all 3 of those guys combine into one massive bot, As for a haslab cybertron optimus prime set, again would also need to be a 3.pack commander set, that includes both optimus prime, wing saber and leobreaker, and hopefully will combine into optimus prime sonic claw mode

Monstructor should just be remolds of the PotP Terrorcons.

Hmmm. Well I would love a RID Mega/Gigatron. Maybe the draw would be with a certain amount of backers the option for devil white or OG black. Leokaiser. I love BUT im a Guyhawk and Deathcobra away from a full Legends scale 3rd party Leokaiser. So for me that would kinda be a bummer. With it being the Age of Primes , Primus would kinda make sense. It is I believe the 15th Anniversary of Transformers Prime. Maybe a Prime Predaking could be possible?

Hasbro has been experimenting with more than on option for Haslabs. While these have been extra pieces, I could see them giving color variants a shot.

I think we going get a primus in age of primes. My wish is proper g1 thunderwing.

It will be a $300 Big Powered 3 set. They can do a big Dai Atlas, Sonic Bomber and Road King in a sexy throwback box with modern art. Maybe toss in a secret super robot combiner mode. That would be sexy. RID megs, Animated Omega Supreme, Grandus, Sky Garry they can do the Star Convoy treatment on them. Liokaiser and Rail Racer need to be sold as online exclusives, I'd even let Takara handle them. Liokaiser is an utter haslab waste of all those bots for repaint and reuse and I'm still salty I won't get a Yellow Splendid Convoy. I'm really tired of Optimuses. The biggest community want is a G1 Metroplex but that can be done at retail for 200 like Omega Supreme, and they can fix that terrible Fort Max and do him over with proper parts, ratchets and articulation. I think ALL these would sell, but it comes down to obscurity is the main focus and what are they going to do to this haslab that makes it stand out. I want Big Powered, with diecast and modernized with all the articulation. Everything else I can see at retail in 2 to 4 years, even Primus in 2026 depending on how high they want the lab to cost by then. Is this one going to hang around 300? I'm thinking it's going to be 350 or 400, especially if you want new molds of a combiner that will never see the light of day again for a 20k-ish moq.

Doing another Optimus Prime so soon feels risky. Success risks turning Haslab into the oversized Optimus Prime service. Even if Hasbro manages to restrain itself, the perception alone could sour consumer views. And if an Optimus Haslab somehow fails, how will that shape Hasbro's perception of anything that isn't Optimus/Bumblebee/Megatron/etc.

we kind of already have a haslab/commander energon optimus

i want Overlord and Dai atlas in retail, not as a haslab. plus there a rumor they will reissue the Overlord figure with slight retooling
@Cristoforos_Collects8 сағат бұрын
Wasn’t Energon Prime leaked or rumored to be the next Titan but that was proven false with Star Convoy so maybe it’s that they really planned Energon Optimus for HasLab??? Idk rumors is rumors and I don’t have all the info so maybe someone out there knows more about where that rumor came from so I don’t put too much stake in it but I guess that’s just me wanting to believe that it be Energon Optimus because I love that design and would love to have a bad ass looking figure with proper articulation and proportions like how he looked in the Dreamwave comics in the 2000s
@haydenreviewscustomcombos11 сағат бұрын
Maybe Optimus could be the commander class figure in that Cybertron themed capsule line. Also, I could see Wing Saber and Leo Breaker being released there as well.
@oliverhendrix817611 сағат бұрын
They haven’t done new mold Commanders for any of the capsules lines. I doubt they’d start now.
