【Turning point : first death】 When I make a song, I always dream that this song might change the world or something, or this song might have the impact to change someone's life. And I'm always depressed that I couldn't change the world again. lol "first death" has just been released so I don't know whether it's my turning point, but I'd be happy if this song was a turning point. When I finish making a song, I forget all the feelings I had. So when I'm interviewed, I say, "Please ask me at the making the song time." I put everything I have into the song, so when it's over there's nothing left, and no memories. 【Tie-up】 I've done tie-ups several times, but I usually don't really watch anime, and TV. When I was a kid, I used to watch Dragon Ball (I think all kids watched it at the time) After I accept the offer, I get into the world of the story. There is no prior information, so I can focus on the world. But I can't get the story or image at first. Honestly, I can't read books, I mean, my brain can’t understand words soon for some reason. I have a bookshelf in my studio, but almost books are that I've only read the first half of. lol Probably my input is not just reading it, I search the core image in deep. I got a sense of speed from Chainsaw Man's manga and teaser anime. Actually, I've been in a chainsaw-ish band for a long time. lol So I made a song with the image like turning this guitar into a chainsaw. 【Lyrics/Sound】 Daisy chain probably means linking together, and also used as a musical word. I write the lyrics related with the work, but I'm reading my lyrics now, I don't know how I arrived at these words. I tend to create music and lyrics more easily when I have a scratch. Frankly, I can create something more when my emotions are struggling in my mind than when I'm filled with happy. For example, I have to face myself at my live concert. I feel despairing when I can't reach my ideal that I'm looking for. "I wish I could have done better", "I wish I had a better voice", "I wish I could play the guitar better". However, when I have such stress and conflict, I can create something. 【International listener】 I don't know what overseas people think of me yet, but Japanese culture are highly regarded, and anime song too. I'm glad if they feel my song good. Fast bpm songs are particular to Japan. Probably due to language. Also my singing style is unique, especially it's hard to hear words of high tones. Even concerts in Japan, I've been said for a long time that "I have no idea what this vocalist is singing". Plus, sometimes I forget the lyrics and sing unclearly. lol It might be good point not to hear my words as Japanese sounds. Maybe my voice is just one of the instruments. In the past, in order to succeed overseas, we might have to write lyrics in English, but now Japanese music is accepted around the world in Japanese, so I feel that times have changed. 【Myself】 When making a song, I don't think about how should I reproduce the song in my live concert. So in case of "whisper → shout → falsetto", it's easy to sing each section in recording and connect them, but it's really hard to play in live concerts. I record many patterns over and over, and consider whether it fits, including with the tie-up's story. I make a piece of a song that's about a minute long, and I listen to it again after I leave my studio and return. Sometimes I feel the song that I thought it was cool just now is not good at all. I feel risky such the time. I don't want to be fooled by the special magic time like I'm in own zone. Perhaps the most important thing for me is whether the songs that I created in the depths of myself feel cool even when my usual self listen to it. Sometimes I send pieces of songs to my manager. My manager might think it's hard to judge with no lyrics and just the intro. But I believe you can understand in the first 10 seconds whether the song has something amazing.
