You're right about his heavy metal voice. He's a rock singer, not heavy metal exactly, but close to what you've noticed about his voice. His song, Katharsis, is an excellent song too for you to react, but first I think you should listen to Unravel again, but the studio version to see the difference between both, I honestly think the studio version is much better because the rock instruments and the rhythmic structure adds a lot to what he sings in this song.
