As a fund accountant who works in a law practice that represents entertainment companies, TK is right. We cut checks to companies and their employees typically on a net 60-90 day pay term. That’s explained throughly in your employment agreements with entertainment companies like a Live Nation. Charleston is a 1099 employee and he is paid for his services (talent) on a per diem basis. Anybody that’s in the entertainment business knows and expect this unless your employment and operating agreement with the entertainment company states you are salaried or hourly worker in which you are paid very other/weekly. TK’s fault was bringing on talent that has a street mentality and knows absolutely nothing about business. If anything it shows Charleston’s finances weren’t as stable or hip as most thought. I don’t know none of these brothers. I am only telling you how the business goes from a legal perspective between the entertainment companies and business. TK and Charleston are the talent so they won’t be hands on with nothing we do. The only persons we would speak with are their business attorneys who in return work with the talents business managers which I doubt he (Charleston) had. Business Managers and Management companies will testify to this; this is how they are paid for their services too.

HE SETS HIS FEE & HOW HE IS PAID, THE TIMELINESS OF PAYMENT SHOULD BE SPECIFIED IN A CONTRACT & he is responsible for his his OWN equipment, transportation & housing. Livenation would be CW’s CLIENT. LIVE NATION is supposed to PAY to receive services from CW. The problem was there was a 1099 filled out for payment, Why did CW not receive an Invoice or have a CONTRACT…. THAT IS WHERE TK CAME IN.
