This Pulitzer is fantastic. His anger about the strike is present. The other characters are obviously concerned with his actions towards the strikers. They don't understand how Jack is an escaped convict. Kathrine's concern about what she has done to the Newsies is also there as her father talks about how he's going to end the strike. The emotions in this scene are there, and the question on whether or not Jack will continue the strike is held highly in the story. These actors should be proud of themselves for what they've done.

This, right here, is the scene where I feel Joseph goes off the deep end, Manipulating Jack into getting mad at his daughter, guilt-tripping him for letting Crutchie get caught and threatening him with not just Davey's fate, but also Les's, and even using their family's emotions to fully trip him up. I consider this his Moral Event Horison - at this point, Pulitzer goes from selfish to downright *evil,* and I love it.
