We’ve installed 5 different lifts me and the bossman where I work in the last 30 yrs . He likes American lifts , I have learned that we always want our vehicle a tad lower in the back . I watch the wheels and I like for my fronts wheels to come off the ground about 2 inchs before my back wheels come off the ground . It’s just what we like with all the weight up front . Has worked for 30 plus yrs for us . Great video Andrew and I don’t know how you did it by yourself . Great content sir .

Great Video. I have installed a few ramps over the years here in the U.K. Couple of things we have always done is use longer anchor bolts or long threaded bar and a chemical fixing to make it a stronger 'anchor' as we dont trust them shorter anchor bolts but it does always depend on your substrate. Another thing every ramp I have installed or worked on (mechanic over 15 years) there are two nuts on the end of the cable and you lock them together. Not sure if I missed that or if you only showed one nut on the end of the cable.

@TKCL2 ай бұрын
Two reasons if I am being honest. One, I had already ordered equipment from them in the past and liked the overall process. Two, they did sponsor this video after watching a lot of my content. With that said, I still wouldn't have went with it if it had not been certified (it is) and had the specs it does. I looked at a lot of other lifts, some literally had no ratings or certifications for testing or engineering. Stay away from those cheaper brands.

Kinda looks like you just put those limit switches in parallel instead of series,,, so as long as one limit switch has power, YOU HAVE POWER.

These are NOT batteries, there is no series or parralell. A switch is either open or closed. You make a loop through it either way.

@@TKCL I have no doubt you probably hooked it up right, especially how detailed you always are. I do understand that it’s not batteries but with that said having worked as an electrician for a good portion of my life, alternating current has parallel, series and combinations of both.
