Great short. She was charmed by him and his subtly flirty ways, til she found out he was married. She was disappointed but the wife turned out to be a kind and loving woman. So when MC realized he was having an affair despite the wife being seemingly perfect, she had nothing but disdain for him. Might have reminded her of her ex.

Like layers of the onion, we think we know someone or some circumstance, but it takes time to grasp the people or the circumstances around us. The beginnings, when we first meet someone, or go into a new situation, are our own fantasy, but then with increasing knowledge we become more informed. The maid increased her knowledge-as she opened the door to the room each time, just like each day brings us new awareness of our circumstances. She made a decision at the end, but was it the right one? Her action created a ripple effect on the lives of the couple, and her. If she had gotten to know him and the couple better would she have made the same decision? Thanks for a really creative and wonderful short film!

I have done custodial work before. I very much related to Kate B's character. I absolutely LOVE the understated power that this woman (The Maid) has... most people pay no attention to, or even take "the help" seriously... it's a kind of subtle disrespect based on an assumption about you as a person based on the fact that you clean up after strangers... this story is really well told, Thank You.

I can’t tell you how much this comment meant to me. That’s exactly what I was going for with this piece. To shed a light on the abysmal treatment of custodial workers as almost a lower class of human, not worthy of respect and whose judgement is not to be feared. It is a clinical issue in society and further evidence of the sociocultural divide that has enabled the elite to look down on working class Americans. That’s what drew me into the film. I do this for a living. I can say it’s pretty accurate the routine of the housekeepers. Only this one is more fancy compared to the one I work at. But I like to think that’s what they were going for in depicting the class statuses. Well done.

I don't know where you find "abysmal treatment of custodial workers" in YOUR line of work, but the hospitality trade relies HEAVILY on talented, dedicated people who keep the organization maintained, clean, and ready to please the customer. Yes, there are some customers who are assholes, but on the whole, the majority of guests appreciate the work that the staff does. This particular employee would be out on her ass if her behavior were to come to management's attention.

Sophia had boundary issues. They both mutually flirted but she took it way too seriously. Housekeepers see cheating spouses all the time, its their job to clean the rooms, not get involved in the guests personal lives. Some people see Sophia as a hero, I just find her mean spirited and pathetic.

I think the casting was perfect! Each actor really fit their role. I also loved the transitions. The one where she moves her hand along the sheets is so satisfying! And I still can’t figure out how you did that scene where she leaves the room with a braid, the caption “one week later” has passed and then the door opens and she has a bun. Keep it up!!

Great Job! But she didn't announce herself after knocking on Thursday before opening the door!. NB: it's important for an housekeeper to announce him/herself and wait like 30-40 seconds even after knocking before entering a guest room as they might be in the shower and also u don't outrightly open the door as the guest might be naked or sleeping. U can only open it slightly and announce your presence again😊 Housekeeping is indeed in interesting Job. Though tedious but it's kind of satisfying if u like people and love helping create great moments. I enjoyed every moment I worked in Swissotel Dubai, always getting tips and gifts from appreciative guests. If not for gang-up and racial politics (am the only Nigerian in my department and the Filipinos & Indians colleagues & superiors I guessed felt threatened) I sure loved & missed my Swissotel and my Guests but what can I do when am all alone against housekeeping department and the almighty Hr clique? Though the manager was sacked but I had to resign honourably before they hide a stolen item in my belongings etc I have to save my name! Speaking work place partiality & racism in UAE, Filipinos & Indians are Gold medallists! Check indeed, naukrigulf, dubizzle etc for jobs in UAE, you'll see No Africans, No Nigerians, Only Filipinos, Only Indians, Only South Indians etc! As ridiculous as it sounds, it's the reality thousands of qualified Africans have to live with, If u lucky to get into a good company through hardwork like I did, theirs high chances you'll be set up & pushed out & to be replaced by Filipinos or Indians! Imagine the psychological trauma of going to work everyday & hoping it won't be the last! Not because u ain't competent (I get loads of compliments and gifts consistently) but simply because some people feel threatened by your progress or that u're too professional and not a butt-licker! Anyways to God be the Glory and may God strengthen all housekeepers and all competent employees (little guys) going through any form of oppression or discrimination in their work place!🙏 NB: anytime you visit Dubai try stay at Swissotel Dubai, it's a fabulous hotel with shopping malls, spa, conference room etc just few minutes walk from Union metro station😊

Well written and filmed. I liked the opening camera shot from under front of cart showing her walking. My take on the plot: Housekeeper enjoyed face to face encounter with older gent. has ideas of flirtation/seduction (lets hair down in front of the door ) then meets wife. Hskeeper accepts that he is happily married and respects that. When she finds evidence he is cheating she is now jealous, (why her? why not me?) and finds a way to frame him. I could not read the early text messages on her phone but I think they had to do with care for her son? So I'm guessing she is a single mom?

Isliye wo undergarment chor deti hai uske room me. Jab uski wife dekhegi lady's underwear apne husband ke bed par to use husband ki sacchai pata chal jaegi.

I hesitate to use the word "spellbinding," but I can't think of another description. Clearly, the housekeeper is a bit needy and lonesome and ultimately vengeful. She's also authentic, vulnerable, irrational--welcome to the human race. I've worked in hospitality, and yes, one can get curious. It's not necessary to show her cleaning. We can take this for granted since the resident seems pleased with her, and it would add weight to a sleek, gorgeously shot piece of art. Well done, Tracy Kleeman.

Ohhhh I’m late to the party but glad I’m here. Less than qtr of the way through and I can already tell what’s going on here. Poor thing is giving me stalker vibes then I just felt bad for her but ultimately decided she’s insane and still justified her behavior. The subtle innuendoes are perfectly laid and not forced. Way to paint a perfect picture. Perfectly executed

She could have left that messy trail of clothing when she came in really tired, knowing that he was gone for the day. That would put a very different perspective on the maid leaving incriminating evidence.
