For anyone following along at home, an oscillating multi tool performs wonders on those cuts. Even more precise than a Dremel

You should sell all the 3d lrinted parts because not many people have 3D Printers
@BlitzMekanika4 жыл бұрын
To keep your file in tip top shape, buy a file card. Run it over the file at a 45 degree motion and you’ll clean out all the plastic you’ve filed.

Could you use a dremel tool to take off the ball holder?

Yup, I was just showing how it could be done without one.

Hey ehdrien, when setting up the rail part for printing, what side ideally should be laying flat?
@ehdrien10944 жыл бұрын
I print mine standing upright. Front face of the rail on the bed.
@tanktrenchdigger45014 жыл бұрын
@@ehdrien1094 I ended up doing the same through trial and error. Eventually got a good print. Really cool project!

Hey is there a picitinny rail for rivals? Trying to add a real scope to my sniper.

I think they are picitinny attachment capable

Is there a place where I can buy the 3-d printed rail piece? I wanna remove the storage but I don’t have a 3-d printer
@protozombie26804 жыл бұрын
Do you have thingiverse files to both halves of the jig? There is only one linked in the description.
@ehdrien10944 жыл бұрын
You just mirror it in your slicer to get the other half.

Is the ball storage delete needed?
@ehdrien10944 жыл бұрын
No, not really. I just think it looks better. Another bonus is a Knockout will fit much better into smaller holsters if the ball storage is removed.

@@user-np4je9tk7o Oh! haha, right. Sorry, I bought those years ago from a local bargain store. I used (the flat side of)a large half round file and a small square file. They don't have any markings on them. They were very cheap but since I'm mostly using them on plastic they've held up fine. Any inexpensive set of files you can buy from Amazon would be of similar quality.

Just a quick question, do we have to use your 3D printed materials? Besides the muzzle piece, what's the purpose of the green pieces?
@ehdrien10944 жыл бұрын
They're a guide for the cuts that I make on the trigger guide. You see me use them at the 11 minute mark.
