5 Tips for Directing People For Photos (even if they're not models)

If you’ve ever tried taking photos of someone, you’ll probably have heard them ask questions like “where do I move my hands” or “how do you want me to look?”, and these questions need to be addressed quickly if you’re in the middle of a photoshoot. I disagree with the count down. That's one of the worst things to do with people who are not models. It adds a layer of stress. It's the photographer's job to make taking photos seamless.
