Want to be careful with that nail polish remove as some of them have oils and fragrance in them and are diluted may not be good for proper cleaning. Otherwise really good work and great video, I love these bikes

No. It,s the only time i did a rebuild on a TL1000.Sam is the Guru on this matter!

Hello thank you for the very informative videos! Can I ask you a question regarding the rear shock absorber suspension? Have you modified the original suspension damper/spring to something more modern? If so can you tell me which shock absorber you used? Also the end result - did the bike handle better? Hello. Yes I have a ohlins shock. I bought it used and serviced it. The complete modification forks, triple clamps, shock and swingarm made the bike very well handling. Completely different. Thanks for your kind words. There will be a new video once I gather the parts required.

How do u get the time ng chain to fit around the he sperockit i cant get it up far enough to fit is there a trick ??? Please help ive been doing this now for three weeks im About it o go nutts, thank you😮😢

No there is no trick unfortunately! I struggled for some time myself. Be sure that that chain is correctly installed and tight around the drive sprocket. You will eventually fit it!

when u had it all apart, and the crank out, did you check the bearings on the rods at all?...and have pulled and put 2 tlr engines together a good tip..re tap your exhaust inlet and outlet and fit in studs not bolts, then when you attach exhaust, your only dealing with a nut...its much better in long run!..well done for putting it back..makes me want to get out and start another one..

No these engines do not have a balancer shaft. Thanks!

Hey did u turn the crankshaft to set timing on cams or was it all done in the same crankshaft position

It all was done as per manual.I set the crankshaft at tdc and then the cams at the corresponding marks.Thanks

Υπάρχουν αρκετές επιλογές. Μια πολύ καλή επιλογή είναι το crypton x 135,και καλό και αξιόπιστο το Innova της Honda.

@@markosgiochalas8509 το crypton x 135 ειναι πιο σύγχρονο. Έχει μονό αμορτισέρ πίσω όπως οι Μοτοσυκλέτες, και είναι υδροψυκτο. Το Innova είναι κλασσικό παπί με injection.
