Terrifying, archaic, impractical.... beautiful, irreplaceable, and amazing. God bless that owner, and whoever cares for it next.

Very cool! The engineering and craftsmanship that went into this vehicle is amazing. Getting to "ride along" when its flying down the road at over 60 mph was a treat.

WOW !!!! What an incredible piece of history ! Actually, it's quite sophisticated for 1929. It's amazing how fast it goes down the road considering that most vehicles in 1929 were going much slower. Thanks for this great video :)

I love the classic wood-leather-glass-steel Orient-Express-like construction of the car. As soon as the car gets renovated into its former gleam, it will be a proceless piece of car engineering. And the ride along the highway was monumental. I would never have imagined almost century old housecar could go that fast. I can tell this had to be quite a beast in the thirties :-).

Who was the original owner? looks like something Howard Hughes would design/engineer. a 1929 truck moving faster than 40 M.P.H.,was un-heard of! I didn't even know Studebaker made a straight-8! AWESOME!!

Once polished and painted, you can drive an actor to the red carpet of the Academy Awards.

Fantastic, truly one of a kind. It really shifts, just wonder how quickly it stops! So many amenities for its time I imagine it cost a lot in its day. Love the owners accent too! May I ask what is the purpose of the two vertical cylinders mounted either side of the front grille?

Sorry-Bela Lugosi Was Not The Star of The Movie! I Just Looked at the Movie Schedule. The Movie Was: "Invisible Ghost", (1941)..Directed By Joseph H.Lewis. It was used as a bus,in the movie. (Don't See much Of The interior!) Starring: Bela Lugosi,Polly Ann Young, and John McGuire. Looks like it had close to the Same Patina in 1941,as it does Now!
