I thought that was more 2nd Nature, though. Because renaming the group and getting rid of Crystal happened around the same time. To me, TLC didn't really happen until Chilli entered the picture. And Crystal Jones was more like a member of what was supposed to originally be 2nd Nature, IMO.

According to T-Boz's autobiography, after being discovered by Pebbles, she changed the group's name from 2nd Nature to TLC standing for Tionne, Lisa, & Crystal. After firing Crystal and bringing in Rozonda Thomas, Rozonda took the stage name Chilli, beacuse the group needed a C.
