I purposely got married during covid. It allowed us to have the small gathering we wanted without offending all the people we didn't invite ;) it was perfect!

@5:56 the 2nd dress didn't fit her, it was too small she couldn't even button it all the way in the back. I'm guessing she wouldn't have had time to get it altered.

Why are brides acting like the only place to get a dress is in store? Amazon has wedding dresses and so do many other sites. All you should care about at that point is making it official. You can always do something after the fact

Yes but some are scams. Especially a dress under $50. Most don't fit body shape either and just look weird on the person and they end up having to go into a store anyway

I'd even say many are scams. Stolen designs, cheap materials, designs that should be sewn or different materials just printed on the fabric... And even if you do get a halfway decent dress, assuming it even looks okay on your body type, getting it altered is a whole other thing. Not just any seamstress/tailor has the knowledge and skills and time to properly fit a wedding dress. There are many channels here on KZbin dedicated to this concept (online dress shopping and how poorly it can go). It's a well enough known issue that a bride isn't going to risk her time, money, and big day on finding a unicorn.

My choice would have been #2, then #1... Wasn't a fan of #3. Her original dress was also gorgeous. I'm sure she looked beautiful, though, gorgeous woman.

One couple were married in the park with just their parents and an officiant. They were buying a house and wanted to be mattied. The venue and was kind enough to keep extending the date. They didn’t lose any of their deposits and she was finally able to pick up her wedding dress. The ceremony was no less wonderful for the wait. Not too many bridal have had their shower and their wedding in different years. Now 🎉they have a beautiful baby girl.

Absolutely hate mesh. It makes me think the dress was too small and they had to put that in to make it fit 😂 It also draws the eyes to it, and the rest of the dress becomes less noticeable. Just my opinion
