Idk, I think she chose the 2nd one because she did say she wanted something a bit different. And the top of #2 is for sure what gives it a unique style. I’m thinking mom’s reaction had something to do with it, but overall the 2nd one is the most “one of a kind” like she wanted. However, I agree the 3rd one fit her best and was the most pretty.

That's just how some greet each other in Europe. Kisses on the cheek. Just like hugs where I'm from, hand shakes in corporate America, and bows in Japan. She did the same with the woman. When I don't want to greet someone with a hug, I just don't move in for it and side step because I get uncomfortable with people I don't know or haven't met trying to touch me. I'll probably wave at them or give a little nod to acknowledge them but that's it.
