Totally feel her. My dad only had one arm and he never came for any of my school activities, and when he picked me up from school he stayed in the car (my mom drove because he can't). He finally admitted he didn't want to come to my award ceremony because he was afraid I'd get bullied because of him. I told him not to worry about it and that it was more impt for me that he was there to see my achievements and that made him cry.

It’s disgusting that we can’t be around the general public without at least one verbally abusive person when it comes to appearances. I brought my daughters up to refer to people of all ages etc as Sir and Ma’am. To use please and no thank you and I explained how being nice and showing respect to the grocery clerk or gas station attendant...you may have just brightened up their horrible day. I have a quarter-size birthmark on my scalp that looks like a burn scar. The hair would part easily and when it showed the bully-boy behind me in class would talk crap. It’s a devastating feeling so I’m glad she was able to get it removed for her sanity as well as the daughters well being, esp if they ever had to defend their mom.

It's low how people would mock even something minor like a pimple or a small scar on your face. Normally people would call scars (or anything that looks like a scar) badass, or something, but I realized what happened to you may have probably happened during a time when children are assholes, because children.

Dr. Lee, I teach ESL. and most of my kids are Hispanic, so may I make a suggestion? Go thru your videos and write down what you usually say to patients, then call the Community College Spanish classes teacher and get him/her to translate those remarks into Spanish for you and memorize them. We have teacher books of Spanish for school vocabulary that do that same thing. Maybe you can make one for dermatologists! Im sure it would be useful. Meanwhile, you will feel more confident with your HIspanic patients.

I have had an undiagnosed hip condition since 21 now 41. I haven’t been able to work cause of it since it started too painful. I would do freelance jobs all the time so when it would be too painful I wouldn’t be fired. I’ve been to at least 80 Drs in these past 20 years to no avail. They’ve told me to ice it, heat it, massage, physical therapy, accupuncture ect and just getting worse and worse. It finally last few years has got so bad I can barely walk. I had Ins through a job I worked 7 years before it got too bad and I started freelance and than not able to work at all. I then aquired private ins on my own that’s expensive but I have no choice. I barely get help with pain managent through this expensive ins. Yet with this expensive ins I’ve still been neglected last 4 years having it. Than I got a more expensive one the last 2 years and was able to see some top hip Drs. They still have no answers for me but have finally offered me a surgery that may work. I’m American many generations here. And even as an American if you aren’t rich or at least upper middle class. Our medical field will leave you to f rot and it’s awful. All my dreams and potential down the drain have even been homeless before with my child because of it. The whole medical field needs a revamp as far as doctors culture. Drs have this way of being that is rude and very neglectful. They don’t care to look further into things leaving many to suffer years for nothing. I’ve read Drs say they just can’t spend the time needed with each patient. One cause of money yes but also because we are too over populated. So America needs to get control of the population here also.

She’s such a beautiful and kind woman. I truly hope that this helps her, she deserves to be happy. And it’s not her fault at all. She’s a good mother, and it’s so sad that people base physical traits for beauty. She’s beautiful with the cyst. Without it. I hate how hurtful people can be to others. Her personality is just as beautiful, and personality traits should be seen more as a priority than physical.
