Those who parent using shame and manipulation and those who don't. The shame and manipulation style of a parent isn't limited to child-rearing. That style is almost always prevalent in how that parent treats their spouse/partner. It's narcissism at its finest. The only difference is that the abused partner isn't required to remain related to the shaming manipulator, but this mother will always be her son's mother. This is all Matt has ever known. He's conditioned to his mother's manipulation. He probably never saw a healthy relationship growing up. He needs therapy, but, unfortunately, he doesn't realize it.

I can't watch this program because it is that troublesome. The mother's in question if they could would have Commit incest with their sons. This is not normal. I believe most of the mothers are married and I cannot understand why their husbands do not think this is unusual. Touchy feely crazy. I have a son that's their age I wouldn't even begin to act like that and we are a very close and small family with their father passing on.
