Ok...this first story FREAKED me out. I literally had to take a minute and gather myself after. First off, I was born on March 26, 2003. Second, **my** umbilical cord was wrapped around my neck and they couldn't get a heart beat on me. Luckily, I was delivered via emergency C-Section and came out healthy. And here I am, 20 years later, listening to this story, and I just having a new appreciation for what my mother went through with me. How freaky is that 👀

When my 3rd was born, apparently the cord was wrapped around her neck and I had no idea until after. My mom told me later, she said she panicked because they just pulled her out and carefully unwrapped it. I am SO thankful that it did not take my babies life. I can't even imagine. 😢

I am 71. I was 2 weeks late to be born. My mother’s OBGYN called her into his office and found the cord was wrapped around my neck preventing my birth. He slipped the cord off and I was born. Mom spent two weeks in the hospital recovering, as I was a big baby at 8 pounds 2 ounces, and she was so tiny. I am lucky to be alive. Thanks, Mom! ❤

I’m sorry you lost your baby. I am a mom of eight, and I lost a baby after my third live birth. People would actually say at least I was lucky that I had “others.” As if my children are replacements for the one I lost? I grieved for that little soul as much as I would have had it been a live birth. I know how you feel. It’s okay to name your child, because that child’s soul is safe. It went directly to God, and you will be reunited one day. Your child is fine. Please, know that it will be okay. Hugs to you. ❤
