I was thinking the same thing. When she got out of bed at the start of the video I was stunned at how "normal" her legs looked compared to her stomach. I'm 270lb myself and my legs look very similar. I'm surprised a psychologist hasn't been called in years ago to help her! So start this NOW. This huge weight gain starts with the mental process first: dealing emotionally with her fathers death many years ago, what she "believed" when bullied by kids, what she "loves" about carbs, and her obvious depression now that needs to be addressed. Working with plastic surgeons, I saw the process of psych counseling before the surgery, saw the huge table to support the patient, the equipment used & the enormous amount of belly fat removed in the operating room...more counseling afterward for months...and gentle exercises to start toning the body. PLEASE stay on the right path to lessen & remove all the burdens you have. You are worth it & deserve a better life than you're suffering!! It CAN BE DONE! 🙏

@@titsticklerthompson981Yes, you can inspire others to lose weight, but the internal struggle to deal with my inner demons is strictly between myself and God. that's my belief system. others may say, between me and myself. the point is we can achieve and maintain a thin body, however we each have to work out the inner demons that cause this incredible desire to overeat, ourselves. I'm grateful to report that I have lost some of the demons and don't binge any more. Regretfully the obsession with food and the body dysmorphia is still there, but I have faith that if God can enable me to stop binging, then She can enable to become free of those isues as well. I'm deeply committed to my faith and my struggle to come out of this internal battle and I know I will be victorious in the end, as will anyone who truly desires freedom and peace . . . and is willing to follow through in whatever path is right for them

Addiction to anything can always be traced to a traumatic event in that person's life.. When I was eight years old I was molested by my uncle's friend who was thirty years old so food became my best friend I knew I could always count on it and I also knew that I would not let me down and always make me feel good so I was 400 lbs by the time I was 30 years old and then I traded my food addiction for an addiction to high dosage pain pills but my tolerance went sky high and pills became to expensive to buy on the street so I went out and found something stronger and cheaper and that's when I started i.v use of Heroin and my weight went down to 210 lbs and I became homeless I got tired of living that life and I got sober and now I have 4 years sober so I know how hard fighting addiction can be but We do recover ❤️💜

I used to have over 40k loyalty points from drinking so much Coke 😂. I found some caffeine crystal lite that is only 5 calories per glass, so that’s what I substituted. One thing I love about this show is they don’t auger coat it at all. They show you how miserable and humiliating it is being this big. And the emotional strain that takes on a person, it is really disturbing with some cases.

She's still very mobile unlike other guests on the show she needs someone to motivate the HELL OUT OF HER I think she can do it without surgery she was able to get up off the floor easy without any other help other than the chair 🪑 Awesome!!!

My heart breaks for this poor woman. I know Dr. Now has a bad rep in some situations but I honestly do believe he does care and helps a lot of people. I pray this woman finds healing and peace. She honestly seems like a good person.

When Tamy said " I can't remember being 170lbs... I was in my early teens " made me so happy for her. It's not the weight but the fact she's reaching her fitness/ health goals that made me smile. Big ups Dr Now and Tamy!

It's interesting how so many people on this show talk about food as a "friend", something that "doesn't talk back" and is "always there" for them. It's an inanimate object, sure it doesn't say anything nasty, but it doesn't say anything productive either. I don't think I'm explaining myself well, but I find it interesting, this "relationship" with food🤷🏻‍♀️

Eating has a calming effect on me but I would not call food a friend. I would rather say that eating is calming and that to eat something I really like is a pleasure. So you are absolutely right 😊.
