The fact that the MagicOne is not vented is an annoying issue. I resolved this issue by using Tang Sancai eartips since the rough texture on the umbrellas of these eartips does allow continuous venting in order to equalize ear pressure. Bass notes do lack the strong leading edge attack which dynamic drivers deliver for kick drums since this is a characteristic of BA drivers when they are used for bass. Yet this is totally fine since the overall sound signature is relaxing, detailed and somewhat ethereal in nature. The MagicOne literally is the first IEM whose delightfully relaxing yet detailed sound signature actually caused me to fall asleep in my chair while listening to it late at night. This reflects on just how nice and smooth yet detailed the MagicOne's overall sound signature actually is. The MagicOne is best suited for classical and orchestral music and for other music genres in which vocals are the the focus. The MagicOne in many ways is a poor man's version of the Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite which is an IEM which is best suited for the genres which I mentioned above. The MagicOne also is a remarkably interesting technology demonstrator which shows what can be achieved by using just one BA driver in conjunction with a totally passive tuning circuit and with a totally passive bass chamber and bass tube resonator technologies.
