Scalecommander if you want to level I think. Your eruptions do more single target which might make it a bit easier. It's also more fun being able to steer around with eons

I didn't quite get why would we need to cancel the "tip the scales" buff? i usuallly use it to aoe interrupt with upheaval

Awesome guide, thanks for putting this together. :) Random question: With a cancelaura macro on Tip the Scales before Fire Breath, do you think we still get enough value out of Leaping Flames?

Yeah, I think there are still cases where you want to charge fire breath more than rank 1 (pack half way dead for example). Leaping flames is still good damage and you can fish for free eruptions. I see your point though..

to give shifting sands to your dps for the full duration of your breath of eons. otherwise they are missing the first few seconds without it. your upheaval hits hard so doing it after might still be worth. I'd at least send fire breath before

hi, what if I'm a casual and want to just pug raid/keys as scalecommander evoker? I'm usually no-target casting presciences, but otherwise am helping with utility such as dispels, offheals, rescues etc is it feasible or should I consider not playing aug in the coming expansion? It's my "main alt" kind of

ye true, tbh I mostly stuck with OmniCD during beta and didn't mess with that much. I didn't really notice the buff on people when it was turned on. I'm sure it would be easy to make a weakaura or something for it to make it stand out a bit more... good shout

Your EM will fall off at some points, be it from a mechanic or bad CD lineups. You can't have it up for 100% of the time, so your goal is to keep it up AS LONG AS POSSIBLE.

Can some1 explain to me how on earth you can be lay with 7-8% haste. I tried it went full crit mastery but the result was awful, got more haste

Secondary stats are usually not weighted so heavily that you could go incredibly low on the less important ones. That’s why if you stack full mast/crit and sim your character, haste and vers become a lot more valuable.

Scale until you are BIS then chrono. I do about the same damage as both on beta.

You basically want a lot of mastery, maybe in every piece of gear you can get. Then a lot of crit because you have a heroic talents which synergize with it. Haste is nice to have and finally vers is a stat you only want is you do higher keys so you can survive as Aug is frail.

Not as simple as you think. If the Aug player doesn't have good to great game knowledge and awareness, they will suck. If the Aug has a group that sucks or isn't popping abilities when they make sense, they will suck. Combine both of these? And you get a disaster. Playing an Aug in a PuG is usually a complete nightmare because PuGs so rarely do anything that makes sense together XD. So it's not surprising a majority of them seemingly suck. This is the highest skill floor and ceiling class in the game bar none to actually not suck at and half of it is completely out of your control when paired with PuGs because it requires them to actually be competent as well.
