Well... I lied about being done with the gear, after selling ~6k FE in stuff I decided to do just a bit more min-maxing. - Added more phys taken as ele - Swapped to MS applies to Move skill CDR for more mobility & sold the wands (the inconsistent movespeed was annoying, so I swapped to this as soon as Zen told me about it). - I elevated weapon suffixes, should swap helmet DD to -mana, but am feeling too lazy atm, may change my mind later. End result; same DPS, more tank, more consistent speed, GG. We'll see if I end up making more money for a new build after this or not.

I've been having more fun with Torchlight this season than Last Epoch, in LE I just got to 97 or so, killed Aberrath then I didn't see a point of playing the cycle any longer so I came back to Torchlight made a new char (erika berserking blade) got to 1T damage so far, having a blast farming like 1k fe and hour with no real farming strat.

One small "mistake" I noticed. You either want to switch your curse for Elemental Shock to trigger the Dark Gate skill on the Boots or you want to switch to a regular pair of rare boots since the only legendary affix that's working is the +2 minion skill level and I'm not sure it's worth the cost or even BIS. That's also why your Command is dipping, Dark Gate isn't triggering. But since the build deals so much dmg it's inconsequential anyway

Triggering minions counts as casting so Dark Gate gets procced on cooldown even without Elemental Shock. The command is dipping because I have 0 investment into it because as you say the build deals so much damage it's inconsequential anyway.

@@Tenkiei Thks for the answer. The wording on the boots is "when casting an empower skill". Unless the translation isn't good. I don't get what skill you meant as a trigger to Dark Gate. I'm checking and I don't see it. Self destruct doesn't have the empower tag and neither does any of the skills I see. So I've checked and Dark Gate is really triggering even without Ele Shock, so you're right, I apologize, but I don't get which skill is triggering it ?

The translation for the game is pretty bad, so when I noticed it working on CD anyway I just assumed it meant "Minion" skill. It could be Overload from the Hero Trait too, but since Overload doesn't have any visible tags your guess is as good as mine, it's very much a "It just works and beyond that you've gotta guess with what makes sense" --- due to the reliability of the triggers I *think* it means "minion" instead of "empower" skills.

Iso arms says it gives ur minions the base attack speed of ur wep, but ur minions only do 1 attack before dying and resummoning. Randomly affects tooltip cause its based on auto attack and not self destruct protocol but the aspd penelty isnt affectuous

Isomorphic arms says; "Minions gain the Main-Hand Weapons bonuses." then clarifies that bonuses refers to the weapon's base damage, base crit rating (which replaces the minions' original crit rating), and affixes but does not affect minions' base attack speed. Unless the old bug has returned, the weapon's attack speed should not affect your minions regardless.

Your alternatives would be buying Starshards and killing the boss to get a 2 LA drop and corroding it as explained in the video, or reworking the entire build to optimize for Physical damage.

The maxroll, I don't really have a way to update videos but as I decided to continue investing in the character instead of rolling a new build I ended up making several updates. The core mechanics didn't change which is why I didn't make a new video but I did spend around 10,000 more FE on gear so some pieces are significantly nicer.

I was at 1 trillion dps with grim phantom and decided to switch to your build. I was doing about 1.6 trillion afterward and was thinking, i guess thats an increase. Then, i realized i didnt equip rhythm and my dps went straight to the 5 trillion dummy cap😂

There must be a maximum dmg hit cap!? When my build (moto) does dmg, all hits are 500billion and my dps calculates to 8-9 trillion overall. But when I add only dmg auras, gear, talents, etc my dmg stays exactly the same. I also tried taking of 2 support gems for my minions, and it's all the same, 8-9 trillion. Please can you confirm this.

Yep, I'm pretty sure there is, but seems like you can sort of get around it with Shock scaling as shock is a separate instance of damage. This is part of why it's so insanely hard for me to test my dps, not only am I at >5T but I consistently hit for 500b, so I don't know what to add or take away to actually increase my damage. So instead I just kept adding defenses.

​@Tenkiei did ask one of the other top players, and he say it's max 500b per hit. It's also 500b per server tick (per dmg source) and there is 30 ticks/sec. Soo if you only have one ability doing dmg the max damage should be 15 trillion. But we can't activate the ability fast enough to hit the 30 ticks/sec, only every 0.2x5. The amount of minions per summon probobly count in our favor, looks like it's 3 3 5 3 3 5 (hard to see).... that are being summoned. The calculation will be 18 minions being summoned per sec and each doing 500b = 9 trillion dps.

Yeah it's a bit of a tricky problem to get around since there's such strict limitations in place on how damage is calculated.

The build does multiple times the cap for me now, there's nothing to show. As far as I know there's nothing in the game where you need the level of damage this build has, or if there is I have yet to find it. This is why I focus so much on defenses in the video and that's what I'll be focused on with any changes I make after this before moving on to the next build.

One downside to this build - you dont get to see what enemies look like anymore. Everything dies off screen instantly😂
