The show wasn't canceled, CBS offered Craig a lot of money to stay, & they offered him a lot of money to host the Late Show after David Letterman left. Craig said he wasn't interested, and left on his own terms.

Arachnid Soul That's not entirely true... according to his contract he should've taken over the late show and when he was passed he decided to quit. He probably got a lot of money since CBS broke that clausule in his contract...and I suspect that on of the conditions was that he couldn't do a late night show for a couple of years. At least, that's what I get from several interviews in the past two years...

Yeah. In a lot of their interviews, Craig has even been able to make him laugh unexpectedly, which I'd imagine is not an easy feat to do at Don's age. I don't think a lot of other talk-show hosts have been able to do that

Craig already interviewed Geoff as a guest in 2011 (/watch?v=fJD7sCnUtbY), but not yet Josh himself. Right now Josh is shooting a indie comedy movie (Nowhere Girl) in which he plays the lead, so I think Craig will probably invite him as a normal guest when this movie comes out to help him promote it.
