I miss this show. Here bc of Smetty on Lebatard Show talking about The Rehersal on HBO and Nathan for You. Discovered the comedic brilliance of Craig Ferguson and this show around this time. Maybe a little later. Always assumed it was lame when he took over so I never watched until I gave it a chance for some unknown reason. Whenever it was I got hooked and then was so sad when it was over. Might have to start rewatching some episodes.

I am now positive that in order to know nathan fielder you have to meet him in person. The guy knows how to carry his bit around. Even Craig said it once: "You are commiting and everything". Nathan Comedy is gold for me but one has to consider if Craig's comedy and Nathan's Comedy are so far apart in terms of style that are almost imcompatible. Sure i love both and i consider both great but they are way waaaay to different

I think it's cos Nathan's always the smartest one in the room, but Craig sees through the gag, so it's like two guys trying to get one over each other and not be got by the other. I found this interview very interesting, the mental game they're playing. The water thing was definitely a bluff and a call.
@reconstruct232 жыл бұрын
“Even Craig said it once: “You are committing and everything”… He also ended the segment by saying “aaaaand scene”, recognizing that the whole interview was just an improv put on, by Fielder.

I've been to probably 15 to 220 therapists in my life and I've never had a single one make a suggestion that helped or make a suggestion at all. All they do is sit there and listen and write down notes that the patient isn't allowed to see. I've never had anyone actually suggest anything useful or give their opinion, so therapy is completely pointless

Craig (the Craig in the video) is hilarious. Skip the monologues and filler, and I think you'd take a liking to him. He was the antithesis of the average late nite host, in the same way that Nathan is, for "fix-your-business" shows
