Namaste sir🙏 Now this a bit irrelevant to your video, but yet I'll shoot a question. I'll be giving CLAT (UG) in 2020 and mugging up Static GK gets extremely monotonous and time consuming for me. Could you please state some of the very important topics which I should know or whether I should even touch static gk at all because according to the past trends CLAT has been all about CA (atleast most of it. ----yet another law aspirant😂

The static in clat is really arbitrary and unpredictable. This year, a lot of the static was not really "static" per se as it was something that was derived from the current affairs of the year itself. I'd advise you to just study current affairs thoroughly from amazing sources like GKtoday's youtube channel which covers all the related static stuff for every new current affairs news item. Though, you will still want to study pure static (history, geography, et cetera) because there were a few questions from that area in GK this year. Moreover, do not make the mistake of going by recent trends when it comes to clat. You need to have a wholesome preparation of all the possible topics that could be asked if you wish to get in a top NLU. For that, sources like Lucent's GK book and Study Iq Education's static compendiums on youtube are enough. You will get a much more lucrative dividend out of focussing more on current affairs!

Hi! I'm a student of Army Institute of Law (AIL), Mohali. (FYI, Army Law College ie. ALC is in Pune, est. 2018 and only offers BBA-LLB. AIL was established in 1999, and offers only B.A. L.LB.) Seeing a few doubts in the comments section regarding admissions here, I just wanted to clarify some of them. There are a total of 80 seats, in which, 60 are reserved for wards of Army Personnel (naturally), 16 are reserved for Punjab Category Civilian wards, and only 4 are for All India Civil Category. Now, for Army cat. and All India Civil Cat., admission takes place through the AIL-LET, which is the institute's own All india entrance. While the difficulty level of the paper is generally moderate, the cutoffs can be on the higher end. Naturally, civil cat cutoffs can be pretty high, since there are only 4 seats. The admission for Punjab Cat. Civilians is completely on the basis of class 12th scores - For which, the cutoffs can be as high as 98%. I've had a few friends belonging to the Punjab Cat. who were on the waiting list even with a score of 96%. I hope this helps a bit! Godspeed for your admissions! (P.S. While the college is pretty decent, you can always aspire for better. If you've not taken a gap year already, you can appear for CLAT again, next year. I'm done with my first year in AIL, but I gave another shot at CLAT 2019.)
