you only use the burst or thats all you switch to, Never stay with the original gun you chose. Burst has no skill its literally the easiest gun to use especially with sharpshooter thats why Individual was great he use any gun or perk miss match and still dominate. Using just the burst is no skill its like using a tac shotgun.
