@@kevinbatdorf For the purpose of learning the handshake, I love the idea. But it's generally recommended _against_ re-writing your own crypto modules. In contract to using modules that have already been vetted and studied by the industry. (of course, I say all that w/ a new vulnerability just discovered in OpenSSL, which just goes to show, even with a lot of funding and developers, bugs always make it through)
