Mill is back and is dominating right now and finally doesn't feel like a cheat deck. With the addition of Ares we can quite often win the on reveal power matchup because we are able to mill the opponent deck until they have less than 3 cards remaining. We have big tech tools in RG and Shang/Fenris to help win against greedier decks as well.

Why play Ares @10:29? You had enough energy for Death and it's a guaranteed 12 power instead of the gamble 12 Max from Ares. 🤔🤷🏽

I wanted to thank you for this deck. I was trying to reach infinite with the Doom2099 deck, but could push above 99. So, switched up decks and used your Mill and hit Infinite for the first time!

Since I dont have Red Guardian or Iron Patriot, I've been playing a similar deck with Knull too. Added Negasonic too. So It helps control the locations they can play into. Puts them in a check mate position some times. Then turn 6, if Killmonger helped bring Death to 0, I often drop Knull and Death. Mill has come a long way. It used to be a bounce deck that was super unreliable. Cards like GrandMaster and Baron Zemo really helped, same with Gladiator and Fenris. Been loving playing Mill more than ever before.

Thoughts on Misery to hit the on reveals again?

I don't think it's great because it deletes your power, and the deck doesnt have hood which is misery's favourite friend. Mill is a bit deceptive because most games you're not aiming to deny draws with mill, you're just leaning into the high stats that come with it + death/fenris/ares

I think it is better than without Misery in my own opinion having played with multiple different versions of this deck with/without fenris with/without killmonger with/without hood with/without death, depends against what you are playing obviously it varies if cards like Fenris Wolf and others gives you decent value or not too but anyway i will say based on my calculations playing with Misery is definitely 300% a stronger mill and much less vulnerable against clog, i think people REALLY underestimate the power of a simple acid arrow and managing your lanes space in this game where it decides on the game outcome more often than not. In this case Killmonger does the job to save some space but is it truly the most effective? It depends. It can be replaced by Lady Deathstrike too which is far from bad with and even without Death, the thing is you do not need 2 or 3 10+ power to win just one played at the end of the game with little cost reduction which is better than a 6 cost does the job just fine imo just Ares is enough i win games and roll over these types of mill decks just fine plus your cable or iron patriot gives you additional options to combo with

As long as you don't use it on your Gladiator you'll be just fine, as long as you play yondu/cable/zemo/ip or whatever else in the same lane and prepare your next turns a little in advance Misery on such a lane is devastating for your opponent not having cards left in their deck is as well, they just won't do much appart from retreating and emoting you. That's not what the deck on this video does i wouldn't call it a pure Mill deck it's more of a counter and mill a little and hope to get value from it, Misery totally makes the difference. People can play around getting Shang Chied early or even Red Guardianed unless they just started playing this week or just aren't too good, not mentioning cosmo even, good luck trying to obtain good value with it against a player that knows how/when/where to place their cards without getting countered by such obvious ones

@tlsg What do you mean it's not toxic? With Yondu +Cable+GM+Gladiator+BZ that's 5. If you also got Misery it can be 7 that's already more than half the standard deck. Hate this mill meta.

It's still toxic, but not as toxic as clutter or the old mill that used doc oc + magik to make the opponent unable to play at all on t7.

Yes! This is great on ladder and even better in conquest. You can more accurately calculate if ares will be buffed, have counters to a lot of high power decks, and can just burn their key resources!

"Cheating" has never been the deck's problem. It shares same problem that Professor X/Cannonball meta had- as an opponent, you can't play the game and it's just not fun. Not having cards and not being able to play cards is the definition of unfun. I'm waiting and hoping for them to kill this deck again.

Mill is weird because Snap values card draw so much that America Chavez was changed, Crystal and Adam Warlock are almost never playable but I guess they don’t mind card draw so long it’s the person playing who can’t draw cards.

I stopped plying this game about 2 weeks ago because Pokemon Pocket is so good. I got a notification for this video, and after watching it, im pretty sure I never want to come back 😂
