I pulled the trigger on WILD solely because of this video. I'd never heard of it, or the house, before I watched this video. It came in today and I'm falling in love with it by the minute. The dry down is getting delicious. I'm new to fragrances, but I already know my wheelhouse is Tobacco, leather, smoke, wood, and earth. Layer those notes with vanilla, honey, or tonka bean, and I'm probably going to buy it. Red Tobacco is still my all time favorite, but I'm learning as I go and WILD is very exciting.

Very interested in a Issey Wood and Wood full review Ross. Good luck on the move. Lived in Fort Lauderdale for 1.5 years and had to move back to Chicago because we needed to be close to family for our first born. I miss the ocean and that weather everyday.

A great impressions vid Ross! The original IPII probably my most layered Aventus style fragrance. Almost through my bottle. I do like my freshies sharp though, so L'eau d'Issey Sport still one of my favs from Miyake. Really should've been classified as a bergamot woody amber, but it's a woody amber I can actually stand. 😄 So many memories with IWII too. For A*Men lovers for sure.

Great video! I had long wondered about these fragrances but had nowhere to test them. I bought the Insurrection Wild (brown bottle) and like the vanilla and tobacco smell. Perfect for Fall and Winter. I tried the Insurrection II Dark (red bottle) but didn't like it. I could hardly smell it and what I could smell was medicinal or chemical. I had to toss it and it was a shame because the presentation was beautiful. I will try Insurrection II Pure Extreme next. I have so many Aventus clones, I want it to be different enough to justify the purchase!

Test it first because its the weakest fragrance I've ever tried. Smells OK but gone in 30 minutes with zero projection

I have and totally love Wild. It brings me back to being a kid passing by the cigar shop to go to the comic bookstore. The cherry tabaco like a pipe tabaco smell to it. The funny part is I never smoked and never will but I love to smell this on my arm and in the air.

SOTD is the Extreme. love that dusty vanilla addition to the aventus dna. Sport is fire too, literally the best gym scent/ highest heat day scent imo

Man I've been rocking D issey Sport since i first smelled a tester bottle on a cruise back in 2016. Love love love!!! Had to have it and bought the 3.3 right then on the cruise. Every time i wear it takes me back to that time on that cruise. I wear this more then the original only because I've been burnt out for quite a few years now on the original... Im gonna take your word and blind buy the wood wood one of these days...

I got that insurrection II Le Parfum. Very nice. Definitely in the Creed Aventus DNA. It performs and last fairly well. Smells very fruity-citrusy and drys down with a woody/smokey scent. Im going to let my bottle macerates for a few months and see if the longevity improves. Good stuff 👌

The reyane pure parfum smells identical to Aventus. I have a sample and it smells literally identical to it. I think it is the best clone out there
