TM Krishna: Ragamalika + Raga Yadukulakhambhoji

The ragamalika that TM Krishna performed at the Karnatic Modern II concert featured the following ragas: Shankarabharanam, Kedaram, Begada, Kalyani, Khamboji, Mukhari and Yadukulakhamboji. He then segues into a Thyagaraja composition, "Hecharikaga" in Raga Yadukulakhamboji.

I just want to add one more thing.... The singer has all the freedom to string together phrases that come to his mind, but it takes the skill of a great instrumentalist to instantaneously convert this wild fragmentation to swaras and play it with gamaka and poise.The Great Akkarai does that and so much more..
