It's not really a heal for Q, it's just defense

not technically no. If Q can't get his taunts off before he loses a sufficient amount of HP, he doesn't "heal" it back even if he gets all 3 taunts after he has lost, say, 50% of his HP. That's why calling it "healing" is a misconception than for what it really is - a defense boost.

@Kuriz, the plural being 'Kurizes' when I think of healing, I think of recovering life, not preventing it from being taken. What Q does is more of a buff

@@Larsgman the way it's calculated isn't giving him DR, it's increasing his maximum hp and current hp in such a way that his healthbar doesn't move, but appears to drain more efficiently when taking damage. strictly speaking mechanically, it is a heal/increasing hp, different from G's VS2 (hugo's taunt works the same way as q's)
