Being a freshmen college and losing a girl that I've dated for 4 years (ALL of high school)I think it's got a lot to do with where they both stand in their lives and the stages they're in. Trev is obviously way ahead of the game in terms of a financial situation and maturity and I think he's blessed to be in the situation he's in, he's doing what he loves and makes a living off of it. I think she can't handle how far ahead in life he is and she isn't ready to "settle" down and wants to explore and have the FULL college experience. Just my two cents. In the end she's losing an incredible individual and I stand by that statement 100%. Not many 20 year olds who have the maturity and head on straight like Trevor does. Keep your head up bro I've been there before with the one girl I really thought was gonna be the one but trust me, girls are a dime a dozen and you gotta have self respect. Hey tmartn, I've had a bad breakup about a year ago... My gf who I thought we were going to be with eachother forever (2 1/2 years dating) we broke up because I lied to her once just so we could keep dating... After we broke up, she told me that I needed to change to be with her, and so I did... I changed my whole attitude, personality, and thought, and personally I really liked the new me, and all my friends did and I thought she would also... But, she moved on and we didnt talk for about a month straight, and I came out honest with her and asked her if she would ever love me again... She answered no to my face, and at that moment, all of that depression, and no happiness that I thought would all go Away on that day, all came back... I was heartbroken and it stayed that way for days on end... To this day I still have a feeling in my stomach kills every time I think of her... Right now, we talk sometimes an this past weekend I wanted to ask out this girl who I really liked, and I thought would help me get over my ex (Katie) but me, my ex and the new girl who I've liked for a little and a couple of my friends all wen to the movies with eachother.. When we first greeted i was about to ask her out, but then I saw my ex in the corner of my eye.. And I got teary eyed and didn't ask the girl I liked out... That night my ex kept on talking about the new guy she liked and how he's so perfect and all, and every moment she kept talking about him, the more flashbacks I kept on having in the bac of my mind about when we dated... Trev, 1 year later, and I still haven't gotten over this girl.. Idk what this means.. If one day we'll date again, or she was the one, and ill never be able to find someone like her again...
