That corner you was missing, you can take it flat-out, you just have to turn earlier into it , and it worked for me in F1 2020, no matter if I was a new team and not many upgrades or a default setup or custom setup, you can go full throttle in that corner in this game

When you get better at manual gears you can downshift for a small engine break blast it on max revs for a jolt of speed out of the corner and upshift to accelerate more

For the corner u had trouble with (copse), if u stay in seventh gear and turn in a little later, u can take it flat out without lifting

If you learn how to manually shift, you can short shift the car. That will save the ware and tear on the car, save fule and tiers too. Short shifting is when you shift up before you hit the optimal RPM. In this game it would be when you are in the red before it turn purple on the rev counter. This is very important to do if want to avoid blowing your engine when it start to fall apart.

For your components. You have more than number shown. The columns you start with are the ones you have before getting a grid penalty

Trevor, if you pause at 1:27, the dialogue box says, "PENALTY WARNING! : Ordering this additional component will result in a grid drop penalty. The penalty will be awarded when the car leaves the garage following completion of the fitting process." If you had read this before clicking "Okay", then you wouldn't have incurred a penalty. P.S. This is the second time this happened. It happened last year on "F1 2020 My Team Career - Part 28 - We Broke the Rules.. (5 Place Grid Penalty)".

Hey Trev, you should really check out some of the new settings to this years game. You can change the settings of things like how fast or slow you and your teammate earn money, team acclaim, and R&D. Also can you turn on or off player faults so you can retire more or less depending on your preference. You can also turn the safety car rate up or down. It makes things more realistic.

Having a tune helps with the car being able to turn in, so you can go flat into the corner easier.
