Yea it's the planes computer telling him he is over speed for landing. It means to go to an idle almost to land the plane safely. It's also a term used in dealing with pressures in mechanical sometimes the systems pressures can be retarded.

Merry Christmas!! In airliners, you need to be fully configured for landing at 1000 ft above ground. In a 737, that's flaps at 30 degrees, gear down, on glideslope, on centerline, and stable. I think a tutorial on the 737 autopilot and flight management system would be rewarding. You probably broke the airplane on the first attempt by greatly exceeding VNE(Never Exceed Speed), thats the maximum speed your aircraft is rated to stay in one piece. Either that or you had an MCAS attack. Cant wait to see more of this series!

Years ago I rode in a 182 with a friend who was getting her commercial. We did a touch and go at Orlando Executive, inbound on Runway 25, over the lake. Right behind us was a Cessna Citation jet. The tower lady told us to "exit the runway as soon as possible, please expedite". My friend kept the speed up, and we wheeled onto taxiway A4, and I looked to the right, and that Citation jet was already over the piano keys. Fun morning.

15:36 fun fact, once airline pilots finish their simulator training, their first time flying the real jet is almost always on a revenue flight! (with an instructor, but still pretty crazy!)

I’ve had the pleasure of having a private tour of an Amazon 737 plane. I got to watch how they load/unload the crates, I sat in the pilot seat, walked in the cargo bay, walked around the whole plane. It’s quite an experience Trev. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. Pilots were awesome too. Shook there hands. Sitting in front of the turbines was interesting too lol.

Great video. To get Autopilot set up correctly with auto throttle, and to reliably have the glide scope pip appear on your PFD, you should learn how to enter basic flight plans into the FMS of your plane (runways at a minimum) as these are often not done by default in career.

But since foreigners do not know where Incheon is, they put Seoul next to it. Incheon Airport is approximately 60km East of Seoul, the capital city of South Korea. Seoul has 2 airports: Incheon - major gateway of Korea, and Gimpo - hub for domestic routes and some international routes. Most people flew into Incheon, so that when you board from overseas, the destination board will appear as Seoul/Incheon or Seoul/ICN. Similar cases are Tokyo/Narita, New York/JFK, London/Heathrow and so on.

This is known as a primary flight Display PFD not CMD, the CMD you see means it is activated thats why you are seeing it on the PFD

Put your flaps at 15 percent once you hit 400 ft then glide your rest of the way down till touchdown.

Pulling back on the stick during landing isnt going to work the way you think, once you have the speed you want use the throttle to increase or decrease glide slope . Watch the tutorials on how to land the Cessna

I think you need to use less speed break, more flaps for landing to reduce speed and keep the plane balanced. You can always use more power if you need it!! I’ve got my PPL license today!! Yeah! 😂
