She will totally get used to the boys. It might take a week, it might be a month. But she's totally young enough to adjust perfectly. The boys will too. And you can train her to walk on a leash with a harness. So many things you can teach her. Do it while she's little!!!! Also, Koda ignoring her is totally fine! His disinterest is a good thing. Don't force it.

@Haven They're different breeds. Cooper is a Golden Retriever, which are known for being very hyper and Koda is a Great Pyrenees which are the complete opposite, they're very lazy.

Please get Bella a safety collar. A safety collar is a collar with a clip and if the collar gets caught on something it comes undone so the cat does not choke. I really advise them as it saved my cats life one time. They are excellent and I really recommend them. 👍

It's so funny and cute to see a kitten arch their back like 'bruh don't mess with me." like they're so tough. It's just adorable. Also if you're going to collar a cat, MAKE SURE it's a breakaway collar. That way if she gets caught up in anything she can just rip herself out of it.

My neighbour's cats need their collar to get in the cat flap and to open their food bowl, but one of them hates it so it would get rid of the collar and be trapped outside

Then get the cat a harness. If they get stuck on something it isn't putting pressure on their neck while still making it harder for them to take it off. For my cat, she's really small and we live in a rural area where there are fishercats, bears, porcupines, and other dangerous animals, as well as the temperature, going down as far as -20 degrees Fahrenheit. So our cat doesn't go outside. So she is an indoor cat and she is happy like this. I would recommend keeping your cats indoors. If you don't want that though, microchip, spay/neuter, and collar your pet.

Just a tip: I wouldn't encourage her to keep playing with your feet. It's cute when she's young, but as she gets older she'll still think it's okay to do and adult cat teeth and adult cat claws hurt a lot more than baby teeth and claws.

I agree with you about the Claws, but those tiny little pointy teeth that kittens have are almost like little short needles... I don't know about you but a Kitten giving me a Playful Bite will make me react much faster than an adult cat giving me a Playful Bite. As for real bites I can't really say... And with kittens when giving medications or supplements, or worse antibiotics, and you have to squirt it in their mouth or something, you will get scratched like Crazy! Their claws hurt less but they are less aware of the pain they are causing and therefore more likely to use their Claws...

Be careful with those collars, they are adorable but a lot of the times they can get the bow off and rhinestones off, also it didnt look like that was a breakaway collar, cats are better with the breakaway collars. They will choke themselves on the weirdest things cause they are so active, breakaway is better cause if they get stuck on something they wont get choked.

Please keep the kitty, it will be tough at first because cats’ natural instinct is to protect themselves from bigger predators. And cats are quite brave. Since she hasn’t been with Cooper and Koda, it’s her defense mechanism. It may be tough at first but it will be worth it in the end.

So be careful letting her think it's ok to step on the stovetop. It wasn't turned on or dangerous for her this time, but she could learn that it's always ok and end up getting burned. Also, watch her around your appliances. Kittens like to chew on things and if those cords are plugged in, even if they are turned off, it's extremely dangerous. But, she is beautiful!

Just an ole Grandma here. Raised a few kittens around my dogs in my day. Actually I am impressed with your instincts for the kitten since you said you not had cats! But just one thing ! The kitten will be just fine. It is so young that he will grow up with your great dogs as a pal.Giving them time like you did and even alone time later will be fine too. Would definitely suggest a cat tree for her to use up her claws. She'll definitely prefer that to your furniture. And please also give her wet food. Dry food is super high in carbs and they tend to be overweight pretty quick. And their teeth get Bad quicker because there is also a lot of sugar in it. And they also get a lot of their water from the food they eat because Most cats tend to not drink enough.

Hi Trevor and Chels, I have 9 outdoor cats and two dogs, an outdoor dog and an indoor dog. I have had experiences when getting kittens when the kittens don't like the dogs. After a while the kittens got used to the dogs. So I am saying that your kitten will get used to the dogs and the dogs will get used to the kitten. Love you guys! Also, keep the kitten!

This is normal When they first meet they wont immediately like each other I have a cat and a dog, they first didn't like each other but eventually became comfortable with each other because they were in the same house every day Now they cuddle together 24/7 Also name her *Shadow*

Re watching these make me feel a lot better. You’re having the same thoughts I had when it was time for our new rescue cat Loki and our cat we rescued as a tiny kitten 8 years ago to meet. I didn’t know if I needed to baby them or let them figure it out. And I was trying to think of all sorts of things that might help it be easier for them.

She will get used to the dogs. Most cats aren't used to seeing giant dogs. So it's a bit overwhelming at first for them. Once the kitten and dogs are allowed to run around for a few days or so, they will all be relaxed and fine with each other. I've owned cats and dogs together. So I have had experience. 🙂

My family is strong about having a dog and a cat to balance the house lol. The best thing you could possibly do is let them spend Time together. Don't pick her up and show them to each other because they already know that they are there. Let them go to each other and that can create an amazing bond. Don't give up just yet.

Please take this advise when I got my 2 cats they didn't like my two dogs at first and within a week of roaming around together and spending time with each other they love each other the dang cats sleep on the dogs. So please give them a week or two of just getting used to each other not having one kenneled but having then roaming around with each other. I love you guys and I trust you'll make the best decision for the dogs and cat

I think Trev & Chels keep them separate in their kennels only when they aren't supervising, which is the safest bet because Cooper can be quite boisterous and the little kitty looks so small and fragile right now to be ruffled around too much! Otherwise, they seem to be letting them roam pretty freely in the rest of the video while they were supervising!

You should change her diet. Wet food is so much better for cats. They love it more and also able to get more water into their diet. Cats tends to not drink enough water and can later develop medical problems from it.

Here’s some suggestions: 1- DONT DECLAW 2- DONT get scented litter bc it could affect ur cats lungs 3- Get a collar but make it a break away one without bells, NO BELLS 4- get a cat tower to hide away from the dogs so she doesn’t get stressed 5- Get something for her to scratch her nails on or claw

@carly power declawing is P R O V E N to be harmful to cats physical and mental health. It doesn't matter what vets recommend because they DO make money off these procedures, what matters more is what humane societies say, and they all agree that declawing cats is cruel and unnecessary. If you are incapable of managing your cats nails and managing their scratching without resorting to declawing then you honestly shouldn't have one.
