A brief rundown on my experience with the TMC RAC Headset. Its a bit of an overview but I hope its informative for you.

Here is a tip, if using it for Ear Protection. Take it apart and fill it full of Foam or Ear Plugs. That will increase the Protection level to actually be useful for shooting

To answer some questions, the headsetis wired for RS ptt's/radios, Im using a Davies dual comms ptt with the tca prc-152a. Only thing I noticed is you can set the headset plug a bit to deep which will not alow you to voice transmit so I just added a rubber o-ring to the male connector. My biggest gripe about the headset is the T arms, they are crap, so I just picked up some ops-core arms.

What did you find bad about the T arms? I just got my set and it seems pretty fine. It holds up and seals pretty well. Does it get worse with time or have you broken one? What is the main different between the ops-core t arms and this one?

Hey mate, I am considering buying those, but I'm still on the fence. When you mention battery last quite awhile.. that's a little vague, how many hours does it last? From another video I saw those are also compatible with the earmor PTT, which is great. How was the cable length for you? Some folks I hear are complaining it's too short to plug into their PTT.

What dou you think is a better headset the rac or the the m32 by earmor?

Have you tried it with loud noise (gunshots etc) yet? The merchants said that they do cancel out loud noise and were actually designed for military use. I just wanted to have some real life reviews tho.

Hi there. So we've used it alongside the Ohshiboom grenades on 9mm and 209 and they do offer a level of protection that is correct but not tried anything louder at this time.

@@BlackEmeraldTacticalOfficial Thanks for the reply. So I contacted someone who does own a pair and used it with live gunfire and they said it was definitely adequate. They are indeed designed for hearing protection. The only minus was the battery life and they had to upgrade the arms with the real Ops-core ones. I'll definitely pick up a pair in the near future.

Very nice review. a question though, i don't know if you already mentioned it in your video but i just want to ask "is it water resistant?" will it survive just in case one is playing and it suddenly rains?

thanks for the info. another question. what after market replacement ear pads are compatible to this in case the leather on the ear pads deteriorate? moreover, can you share how you care for and maintain the leather/cushions on the ear pads? thanks in advance.

I wore these in a down pour of a milsim and it held up ok. My friend has the same set and the microphone all of the sudden started twisting freely.

But it's Chinese-made garbage. Cheap knockoff of a superior American-made company like OpsCore So... this is for airsoft I imagine. Highly unlikely it has any real noise cancellation ability for real shooters?
