Am I the only one that thinks Lia’s betrayal had a bigger impact than Jake’s? Like sure, the club had the right to be upset with him but the thing is, he’s known Lia for YEARS and yet he still heard her out and let her apologise. He’s known the club for a matter of MONTHS. I think it should be obvious who he’d be more likely to side with considering his friend group was the reason he was protected from bullies in freshmen year

You know a lot of people probably know that Zander has trust issues so could understand his anger. Zander never earned Jake’s trust like the others. Jake has help very in the music club PERSONALLY except for Zander. Maybe if Jake helped him at least once personally maybe just maybe Zander would have more of a better view of him, but sadly there is a worse chance of Zander too forgive him. Zander has to experience that Jake is a GOOD person to believe it because he’s only seen the bad side. Zander being mad is normal behavior for someone like him he’s not a jerk he just has really bad trust issues.

This is old but whatever Depression comes in many forms but I’m actually someone who believes jake doesn’t have it. Almost all of these examples were in episode 10 where he got kicked out of the club. Ofc he’s gunna be sad for that time period, also in Loved with Your Love, I don’t think the whole falling from the sky thing was hinting at depression, or even jake wanting to uhm… yk. This is so amazing, I love how they actually digest things and express their own opinions on the matter. Also it wasn’t over dramatic or underwhelming in terms of their reactions! Keep it up ❤ But I want to express my opinion on some of the comments I’m seeing. This might be long 😭 First up Zander- he has trust issues. And it’s very easy to know why considering his past and his experiences up until now. In the beginning we see him reluctant to let Jake join which is understandable due to the fact that Jake and his friend group were bullying them. Despite his wariness, we see him open up to Jake and even accept him as a member of the club. Which is why he was so mean to Jake after he heard the recording. All that trust he had just upped and vanish. And you could even here the anger and the sadness in his voice when he was talking to Jake in episode 10. He feels betrayed for himself but also for Hailey. Hence the line “Don’t come near me or my sister again”. Ok ima make a next comment because this is getting long 😂

Part 2- The music club- I’ve seen a lot of people opinions on who is in the right or wrong but...how exactly is the music club in the wrong? Jake and the rest of the Jomies were bullying them for years from what we’ve seen so it makes sense why they would be hesitant to let Jake join. However, given the thoughtful person that Hailey is she allowed Jake to join them because she was able to see his passion for singing. She has also been there to comfort Jake when he needed it showing him that she does in fact care. Some people say that the club is in the wrong for making him choose sides. But again that is valid and even Jake himself says that he should make a choice because it wasn’t fair to them. At the same time, Hailey herself says that it doesn’t matter whether he stays friends with the Jomies or even quit the music club after the competition, she just hopes they stay friends. Which Jake then appreciates and thxs her for

TBH, idk why Jake was trying sooo hard to be accepted into Hailey's music club. If he wanted to do music, sure he could join their club, but if they didn't accept him first up, he could just join other music clubs. I'm sure the school's club isn't the ONLY club in the entire city. There are definately other music clubs out of school, that could be on a whole other level. Sometime I feel like the Jomies are his friend group, the ones that kept him company and protected him from bullies, the ones who had been with him the longest, and I feel like they never really mistreated him even if he liked music. They just mess with the music club 'cause they have been long term enemies, they just give me that vibe. (Like, that 2 groups of people who just never gets along, and they would insult each otehr the moment they cross path, but they don't really have any negative thought on what they do. Like, the Jomies don't hate music or people who do music, they just don't like Hailey's group.) While the music club is just his hobby, a place where he can be accepted for liking music without being judged. He tries to please them so he can spend time with them. But if he had to he might still chose the Jomies over the music club. But he would still want to apologize because he did say those things he never really meant, and it did hurt their feelings. Though, over time, if they still don't even hear him out, he may just leave it. After all, he can always join another club elsewhere, they are not his only option. AND, he did help them solve many problems but they never even gave them a chance to explain. AND, if they are just gonna force him to leave the group that had protected him for so long, they are not worth it. Ofc, that's just my opinion. The above is the things I would do if I were to be in that situation. However, i have never really been bullied, so I dont know what Jake would do. I personally think if a club won't accept me straight up, then I can always find another club. If a new friend I made knew just how much my friends mean to me and still tells me to leave them cause she doesn't like them, I would start to distant myself from this new friend.

The only problem I have with this is the constant “they’re manipulating him they’re just using him” blah blah blah in the videos but are they wrong ? It’s true jake did so so much for the music club and what drew and the others said most of it wasn’t wrong jake never got anything in return he was still at arms length by the club and couldn’t and didn’t get anything from them they way he gave them things BOTH groups are extremely toxic one isn’t worse than the other. Heres my opinion on TMF I think the club was overreacting so much about the audio. Sure Jake did say terrible stuff but then they were saying “We trusted you!” “How could you do this to us i thought you were our friend!” LIKE HUN YOU HAVE KNOWN HIM FOR 3 WEEKS. Plus shes kinda cute tbh 😭. Now before Sean knew Jake liked Daisy he obviously got some feelings. It’s kinda sad for Sean since he’s trying to get over his feelings just for Jake 😭. Then in freshman year where he met the Jomies he didn’t tell them he liked to sing since he saw how he was treating the club. And Jake didn’t want to lose them so he tagged along with it. One thing that REALLY makes me hate the Music Club in these reaction videos is when they COMPLETELY DISREGARD what depression does to a person. Jake not eating or sleeping isn’t “going that far” over “just one mistake,” it’s literally him losing the will to take care of himself. They should KNOW that, because it’s pretty clear they’ve all been bullied, especially Hailey. She should understand what it’s like to not have enough energy to try. That’s literally how she’s been feeling this whole time since Jake said what he did. Honestly. At this point, it’s egregious how little they seem to care. Jake is human too.

The thing is thought. The club have every right to be upset at Jake. He hurt their feelings and shouldn't have let his anger get the better of him. The reason they're in the wrong now is because they're not owning up to their part in why he blew up. Zander and Hailey HATE Drew, and they're not fond or Liam and Henry either. And with good reason. The guys are jerks to them. But.. they're good friends to Jake and NO ONE can deny that. And that's why. jake love them. The thing is though that Jake is friends with two groups who don't like either other. And that's okay, honestly it's really relatable I myself hangout with a few groups who they don't hate each other. But if I wasn't friends with them they'd never talk to each other kind of thing. But they don't make me choose whose better because I like hanging out with them for different reasons. Jake however is always forced to share himself. And that's where the club is in the wrong
