Some background on what's happening: Irina Kairatovna are initially comedians doing KZbin sketches but then starting doing rap and shooting movies. In Kazakhstan we have two parallel worlds: russian and kazakh speaking. Ninety One initially positioned themselves as group that popularising kazakh language. And Irina Kairatovna is more popular in russian-speaking audience. This song was a cultural shock because people didn't expect Ninety One to have featuring with russian-speaking artists. The song is about problems in Kazakhstan - each member took separate spheres of life like politics/showbiz/youth problems. The song is called Taboo because of the authoritarian regime of our country and doing political statements against government could be dangerous for yourself. Ninety One and Irina Kairatovna decided to use "soft power" against government - talk about our problems in cultural space rather than in political. Both Irina Kairatovna and Ninety One were afraid that someone would come to them from Secret Service, but it didn't happened. At the same time during the interview one of the officials said that watched MV. It means that "soft power" did work. So this song is kinda hard to understand because it's meant for people, who live in Kazakhstan and knows the context
