That really does a nice job. Doesn’t sound like the tractor is working hard at all.

it does well on trails. Beating back my neighbors fence line though is hard on the tractor and mower.....!!

Looking to purchase a flail mower. In your opinion should I go with TMG or spend the extra $2000 for a Frontier? I’m doing occasional cutting, not professionally.
@WaynesWorldGarage3 ай бұрын
Well.... good luck getting parts and service for the TMG... I'd go with Mother Deere....
@ianmclean55413 ай бұрын
@@WaynesWorldGarage thanks. I actually decided to go with the John Deere after I watched another couple videos. Those things are built like a tank. Really not a comparison for quality.

Could you raise it up a little for your first time through a new area?

yes

Can you say what the maximum cutting height is? I have asked the company three times. Got one response and they failed to answer the question. Instead they referred me to somebody else. Probably only 2.5 inches! They don't want anyone to know I guess. After seeing the flimsy plastic guard disintegrate I can see I need something a little more durable.

Yea, 2.5 inches is about right. They didn't answer probably because they have no clue. It seems to work ok, although the guard is junk.

looks like its doing a great job what horsepower do they recomend you have to run it and how about rocks what if you hit one that you cant see
@WaynesWorldGarage Жыл бұрын
Cedric, They suggest 30-60 HP. The 4400 is supposed to be 37 or so. It has plenty of power for what I am doing. WRT rocks... there are not many rocks in this part of Maryland. Lots of sand and dirt though!!!

♠another thing, u-joints don`t like to run @ more than 15°

not sure I can do anything about that!!

You're doing a heck of a job and you showed exactly what I was interested in seeing.. thick overgrown vegetation with bushes and small trees. Does it look worth the money... heck yeah! I'd say your rubber guard couldn't take the pea gravel you kicked up. Maybe adjust the skids to raise the mower so it isn't plowing or use the tractor lift. Spoke too another guy said these things are capable of near finish mower results on lawns. Thanks for the video.
