The coil really doesn’t hurt that bad at all. It’s a pinch for a few seconds. I’ve had mine for 9 years and it’s so worth it as I just have the copper one so no effect on hormones. Def recommend!

The coil hurts immeeeensely but so so worth it in the long run as it last for 5 years or 10 depending which you get! I'm on my second one now and never really had any problems with it! It's also stopped my periods so haven't had a bleed for around 7 years (other than when I had my covid jabs which was odddddd) but I do recommend!

@Jessica Taylor honestly I was scared too, did so much research and read a lot of horror stories online - it will be different for everyone but for me it's really worked. It hurts when they put it in then you just get like bad period cramps for up to a week I'd say, and you can have sex straight away really but there is something to do with you have to use condoms if it's put it on a certain date but they'd explain that I can't remember the ins and outs! It'd also stopped me having a bleed every month which is nice!!

@Jessica Taylor oh no I'm sorry you guys are going through that in the US!! I have asked guys if they can feel it before and they always just say "hmm i don't think so"😂 Yep they told me to use condoms the first few days maybe I can't remember exactly but it's only for a short time and it's to do with your cycle maybe i dont know! It has worked for me out of evry thing, the pain of it going in was really bad for me i wont sugarcoat it, but I just think once it's in thsts 5-10 years depending which you get so it's worth it honestly! Even condoms can fail, I feel so bad for you being in this situation its so unfair 😩 I hope you find something that works for you I really do, I haven't gotten pregnant on the coil and Im on my 2nd one now (mine last 5 years each time) but eveyrone is different x

I have one advice, if you have anxiety get yourself a paracord and learn to make bracelets from it, you will get the benefit from it. One you made yourself a bracelet and two all your stress will get relieved 😉😊😌

@Jessica Taylor i know a few people who have gotten pregnant on the coil and that was enough to put me off, but it going in isnt nice either😂. But with the patch you just stick it on and change it once a week, i put mine in the middle of my lower back or on my bum so its normally hidden by my underwear and it then does the same as the pill, you take a week off for your period after 3 weeks! So pretty much the same as the pill but so much less hassle, and i dont fimd mine comes off in the shower of if i go swimming!

Ngl getting my non-hormonal coil put in hurt like a BIITTCHHHHHH. But so far so good, 3 months in and don't feel my emotions or brain being messed about, and my periods haven't gotten much heavier tbh. The cramps suck, but hey ho - it is what it is. The implant fucked me up soooo bad, so this is much better IMO. Never tried the pill tho bc of all the horror stories.

If you want to come of your pill you should definitely do some research into tracking your cycle. There is only around 5 days in the month where you can actually conceive so if you can track those days and be safe you can be off the pill and not get pregnant..

Love this! But PLEASE don’t get the conditioner on the important bits 😅 your hooha is a self-cleaning mechanism and using _things_ on it can mess up the PH balance Ps. Are you diagnosed ADHD or undiagnosed? If you are, have you noticed how periods affect the symptoms? Something so many women don’t realise is a thing, my mind was blown. Always thought I was just more tired than other people because I’m a sleepy person
