My fandoms collided! I love that Stays are saying how Jaejoong created a comfortable atmosphere for Chan and Jisung. But what made me so proud as a Stay and so happy as a Boss Baby is how Chan and Jisung also complimented Jaejoong's artistry and performance above all things. Most guests point out JJ's shocking visual which is expected, but to see an accomplished artist compliment another accomplished artist was just so heart warming. What a nice episode. Thank you! 😊

The way Jaejoong understands how Bang Chan feels and knows what he is going through 🥲 It’s certainly not easy to be the leader and the oldest member in a group. He is the oldest hyung and he has a lot of responsibilities and weight on his shoulders. He was the oldest in TVXQ then but Yunho is the leader ever since. In JYJ, he became the leader in everything that made them a separate group. He had a rocky path after leaving TVXQ but he did good as a solo artist and that's his current career path.

This might not be relevant at all but at 27:37 I really loved how Jae corrected Chan’s Korean pronunciation. Straight forward, comment on what needs to be fixed, and move on. As a language learner I appreciate that so much. Most natives would just comment your speaking is good; and leave it at that. Or worse, they remembered the “funny” things that you said, and joked about it later on. I want to improve, but not at the expense of being a joke.

i think it's cuz if you stretch out the sh sound it sounds really similar to f**k in korean. i think he was just joking with him about not accidentally swearing not really correcting the pronunciation lol. you're right though it wasn't mean or condescending when he did it, just fun and friendly :)

Han Jisung is so adorably funny. His communication skills, his wit and ability to entertain are truly amazing. Despite being shy and awkward at first, he was still so talkative and cute. Seriously, his reactions are so lively and his sincerity is so appealing. Bangchan couldn't stop smiling the whole episode, there was so much happiness coming from him and it's so cute how Han and Chan become tactile to each other when they excited. But the most important thing is how noticeable their enjoyment is, how much fun they're both having on this show. Jae Joong is so awesome, he created a really comfortable and warm atmosphere. Han's voice at the end made me literally feel goosebumps... Jae Joong's reaction is so real 😭

As an American STAY, I've been introduced to new Korean programs and hosts because of the ATE promotions. "Jaefriends" is my first time learning about Kim Jaejoong. Not only was he an incredible sunbaenim for Bang Chan and Han, but he had such a natural hosting style. I laughed a lot, but my heart felt warm listening to him give advice or praise SKZ. I remember him from AAA performance, but today I really learned more about the person he is. If his fans can recommend his music or other content with him, please do. I want to see more and support his career going forward. So, once again, Stray Kids is helping global fans connect with amazing Korean artists. I love being a STAY!

He debuted as part of TVXQ 21 years ago (you might know some of their songs like Mirotic, Rising Sun, Purple Line, Wrong Number, Bolero, Love in the Ice, O Jung Ban Hap or Why Did I Fall in Love with You, some of them are in Japanese). They were the biggest group back then and broke through to the Japanese market under the name Tohoshinki. They sing 2 openings of One Piece and one ending.. In 2009 three members including Jaejoong sued their company because of slave contract and left. They continued under the name JYJ. You might know the 2 members who stayed with the company as tvxq because they were MCs of Kingdom. As a solo singer he has many rock songs and has a huge career in Japan as well (even though he and his bandmates have been blacklisted by SM after the lawsuit and haven't been able to appear on mainstream TV or any music shows). He has so many good songs like Mine, Just Another Girl, One Kiss, Broken Mirror, Maze, Nobody Like You, Drawer, Welcome to my Wild World, Breathing, Run Away, All Alone, One Kiss...so many. It would be best to listen to his albums in full. He goes under Kim Jaejoong in Korea and under J-JUN in Japan. Some of the older stuff might be under Hero Jaejoong, which wss his stage name, so when Channie called him that at the end it was a nice touch.😊

its almost 130am and im scrolling through all the comments and liking them, even reading all the korean ones in detail (i usually dont, because it takes double effort to read hangul) and my heart is so warmed by all the wonderful words both fandoms are leaving for each other. Jaejoong truly did a splendid job hosting, I've not seen the kids this comfortable and open on any external show, he mixes the best balance between unserious and genuine (and of course how he literally had Chan choked up when he noticed how kind a leader and hyung he is). It's also so refreshing to see guests who recognize Jaejoong so properly for his music and performance (the guests esp younger idols mostly talk about his visuals), this was truly the crossover I never knew I needed? When I fell for DBSK 14 years ago sobbing over their ballads I did not imagine myself jaw-dropped at binsung's maatroshyka predebut battle at yg, neither was I expecting skz's reaction to Jaejoong's AAA glorious performance nor an actual wholesome content like this!!! Truly so blessed and so glad. Jaechingu is really doing so well recently and Jaejoong's been finally returning to the spotlight after that man is no longer hovering within SM like im just soooooooooooooo glad and happy for him, and Stray Kids really ATE this comeback TT so so happy for them both and this is certainly an episode i'll return to again and again.
