Hey inbetweeners, a kingbetweener here. First is to give the TMI ladies their flowers 💐, their content is quite informative, and educative to the men on the femal perspective, which can be rare but exceptionally instrumental in terms of helping us understand the female p.o.v and grow in healthy ways. Since the topic is red flags, I'd like to weigh in on the condescending red flag; I've come to respect how closely men attach love to respect. For example, its an uphill task to find men saying they love what another has done but would rather say, 'Respect!' Thus there's a big way in which men who are respected feel that seive into them feeling loved. That being said, constant disrespect is a red flag and even deal breaker for me. Reson being, even when there's criticism to be given, I am a huge beliver that can feedback can be deseminated without dismantling someone's dignity. That most times means 95% honey & 5% salt. It's safe to say beyond the common love languages at the very top for me is gentleness. In conversation and beyond, gentleness and respect should always prevail. Lastly, the best way I've figured to attract the best sort of partner you desire, is for to mould yourself into the best type of partner you could be. 😊 Cheers.

Respect is earned, right?
@jonathanthuo2 жыл бұрын
@@gracemumbi6219 Very correct. But that doesn't mean if we are strangers it is not given. 😊 And that tell you a lot about a person. As we say, kindness to others is an attractive trait to look out for, I think part of that kindness us based on the healthy bare minimum level of respect we can allocate to even a stranger. Then from there, assess our interaction to observe the person's behavioural truth, to evaluate whether your respect is being matched or not. I respect you as a stranger. What would happen in a potential 'healthy' relationship is that respect would be compounded by our interaction. So, like as much as someone would have to earn my respect, I feel like, I'd still treat everyone with a certain level of ethereal respect as another human being. Then later decide whether its deserved or misplaced. What do you think?

39:00 about this part…..what if you just need some time to find away to communicate more effectively other than just lashing out…..what if you want to find the right words to communicate what he or she has done wrong and how that has affected you……see the problem with telling your partner that you need time to process your emotions is that they’ll get used to the fact that every time they do something wrong…..or when your going through something or in a bad mood…..they’ll automatically feel like they need to give you space so that you can sort all that internal turmoil alone…..and sometimes that isn’t the case😅sometimes you need they to just hold your hand through it…..I hope I’m making sense😅for me personally when I’m angry or sad I just have a lot of unfiltered , messy noise going on in my head and I wouldn’t like to expose my partner to all that darkness💔

Great episode. As one who grew up in the city, I get not seeing where cows can come in, but so glad that my old man introduced us all to both the city and farm worlds. There're the siblings that fell in love with farm life and though they work in the city, they have a "small farm" to escape to and breathe every so often. My dad has a much blissful retirement as he has his goat/cow or two to wake up to and animals can be therapeutic. I'm with the Ozband. Introduce kids to as many worlds as you can. Let them have a feel and decide if they're into it or nah. They might surprise you. 🙂

It's great for kids to see/experience how their parents grew up,so outdoorsy stuff shldn't be aligned or perceived with negative connotation. Positive experiences open up childrens' minds.

The church also gives free counselling. I feel tagged on the critical part n wanting to change the man. What if the change is on the positive side? What if you want to improve the man in terms of his career and aspirations? I was that girl last year pushing my man to be the best version of himself, but it never yielded any fruit. This year, I am more relaxed. I'm not grooming a grown man. If he sees the need to change n improve himself, he will do it. And i agree with Lydia on this one. It's tiring in the long run.

Hey ladies. Another Kingbetweener and a fellow KZbinr here. 🥂🥂 Yeah, I think a woman telling her homegirl's secrets to her man is a red flag because it kind of shows she's got loose lips. A lot of men like to feel like their woman is their fortress and their safe place and that what we share with her or what goes on between us stays between us. But when she's sharing other people's confidential matters it can easily make us thinks she's divulging our personal matters as well to third parties and that's not cool. Yeah, so for me it's a red flag. People need to be able to trust you if they open up to you about private matters. Love the podcast by the way.
