'No family deserves this': Fury over child killed in hit-and-run crash

A 4-year-old girl was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Milwaukee Tuesday, police say. The crash happened at around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Teutonia and Vera, just a few blocks south of Good Hope. TMJ4's team obtained nearby surveillance video that shows the gruesome crash. You can see in the video a Milwaukee County Transit System bus nearby, which we know also has cameras on it.

Lost of life is always tragic! But why wouldn't the mother not see a car coming or be using a marked cross walked! Especially on that busy street! And yes this driver and passengers are evil!

FAKE OUTRAGE from the "mayor" Had he and the rest of city "leaders" been doing their jobs over these last couple of years this could have been avoided! The city of Milwaukee is EXTREMELY lenient on reckless driving! People know they can drive recklessly and get away with it and that's why they do it! I'm not at all moved by his little speech! He's only pretending to be mad because it makes HIM look bad as someone who is SUPPOSED to be a leader in the city! I pray this mother recovers and sues the driver and the city for negligence!

Its not the cities fault its the states fault. They allow people to drive without a license. We as police officers cannot arrest them for it. So do not blame the city blame the state.

@@carlosplays112 The mayor, the DA's office, judges, and other CITY leaders ABSOLUTELY have a say so in what goes on in this city! Otherwise Milwaukee and any other city across the country wouldn't elect them! We would only have state representatives if your statement were correct! It is our CITY LEADERS jobs to protect the people of our city! Which means as police officers YOU catch criminals, who are then charged and prosecuted and the judges job is to sentence them! If those things were happening they way they should, reckless driving and many other crimes that go on in this city wouldn't be happening! Reckless driving has been a major issue for at least the last three years and it hasn't been taken seriously enough! Now we have a dead 4 year old!

Had he done his job previously and let people know by TAKING ACTION that reckless driving wouldn't be tolerated in our city, these little punks would have stopped a long time ago!
